I found plenty same problems in https://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z3/Xperia-Z3-Speaker-issue/td-p/860621/page/2. Some having the problem after 1 day of purchasing! Can you please tell me any solution if you know about it? Tia

i heard low light performence of z3 is not good.....um using xperia z now and um a big fan of sony though i need to replace my glass of z 2 times.

But ... more4k yeah eveyphone get overheat . but not so much ! on normal work and 1080p video there is not heatup with xperia smartphones ! i was had Xperia Z Z3 Z5 and now i want buy Xperia XZ i bet xperia phone dosn't get overheat at video record at 1080p res our take photo.

Too bad, Google and Qualcomm both dropped support and release drivers for SD 801 Chips for Android 7 (Nougat).
Though there are dev releases provided by Sony on their dev channels but it won't have a major final release.

build quality is about the same
performance is about the same
back cam should be a bit better on z3
front is better on 5s
battery life is better on z3
screen is better and bigger on z3
i wont compare android and ios,but i can sony app to apple,multimedia is much better on xperia,and preinstaled app form sony are very good in fact
you ahve lot more camera features on xperia
stereo spekaers,micro sd slot,x reality engine,watterproff desing has the z3
fs,dual tone flash on iphone
so well chose what you want both are very good,try out both of them
