i only tested this phone at the store.
Based on that, I can say this phone is awesome, but lets be honest, the front facing cam was just good, sadly it was not good enough for me. That, and the display, i know its good but a 1080p would be nicer since its gonna be my phone for the next 2-3years, unless it'll be lost just like my iphone 4s.lol. One more cycle and I think SONY will nail it, 1080p screen and based on rumors it'll be a 5mp front snapper like the C3 (im not a selfie lord but having that flash would be great during nightouts.LOL.) Plus the side keys for music, like the one on the recently announced walkman, would be perfect as well.
they perfected the design and battery and performance and the simple UI already. Just 1 more cycle and I hope It'll be this MWC 2015. Coz i cant wait to get my hands off this Samsung Galaxy S that I currently have as a spare. Hehe

Self cracking problem still going on with z phones. I just bought a z3 compact.1 day only it crack!it was stored in the box when it self crack.i just cant beleive it the it crack by itself.

I am a user with 3 months experience, coming from a Galaxy S4.
Buy it, Z3 compact is a great option, is more fluent and software is more productive, also the camera resources and setup are a lot better than Samsung.
The battery works just one day with me, but I use it a lot.

But I saw your question yesterday and decided to test it out and from 0% to 100% the phone takes exactly 52 minutes to charge without Stamina mode on and without me using it! Just under an hour! I was really suprised. It will probably take from 30% about 30 something minutes to get to 100% :)

I would like to reconfirm again, how much time needed to charge Z3 from battery with 30% ?
I am using Samsung Note 4 and basically satisfy with its performance and the speed battery re-charged from 30% (arround 90 minutes).

Can't believe that. Have dropped it accidentally from 3' 5" height twice and nothing happened. Sat multiple times on it and still intact. Know what? Have left giving it any special care ever since. So far so good. Cheers! ;)

Just bought my z3 compact green and so far so good. I hope to have this phone for 2 or more years. I love the size. Just right and the screen resolution is awesome. Camera is better compared to my samsung s4.

I bought z3 compact on. 3rd jan 2015 after six days the phone is fully dead. That night i put the phone in airplane mode. There was about 35 % battery. Next morning the phone is seen switched off. I put it to charge but nothing happened. The device is fully dead. Next day o contacted the vendor and they replaced with new one. But i lost all contacts and data in the phone memory. Never expected this kind of problems from sony and that too from a this much costly device.

probably one of the best phones. better than any iphone. great screen, scratchproof body, powerful processor and best battery life.

Owned a green Z3 Compact (wish i got the red one though). . .responsive and battery life's awesome. It'll be another year or two before i upgrade.

But OEM's have this mindset of increasing the screen each year because they think bigger is better. So Z4C will be 4.7, Z5C=5" and soon... because people are greedy of having extra large phone. But please Sony just keep it at 4.7" maximum. You have Z4 or Z4 Ultra ro play with larger screen, if u want u may have 100" Z4 Ultra.

After 3 years using HTC one X, great superphone, I just upgraded to Sony Z3C. Just the right size terrific specs very happy. The combination of hardware and size was the final decision. Plus looks gorgeous fantastic good. Flat screen TV in the pocket not for me thanks. Battery life is good but do not expect miracles.
