Omg this phone is amazing! I love this phone. No problems like any of others have said. I got one in hk. I also have an iphone 6, truth is, I prefer z3 compact more. I really wondered what problems other users are facing. My is super flawless!

dont trust any of these comments , some people try to adverties their products and some people wanted to try decry the products to avoid selling of competitors , all in all pls only trust your real friends experiences not virtual fake peoples

PRODUCTION FAULT, BEWARE! I purchased a Z3 Compact mid-November online, I am in the US, but wanted the phone to use on T-Mobile. First few days it was a great device, then it began failing. The phone began randomly shutting down. It would occasionally restart if plugged in, but then failed all together. It is a W37 phone, which others have complained of to Sony. I called, sent in the phone on my own dime, even though Sony said they'd send me a shipping label (they eventually did but it came a week and a half after they said it would). Now they have had the phone for over two weeks, and have given me no updates unless I call them, despite the fact that they told me they would let me know the status of my device. This miserable level of service is unacceptable. I paid $600 for a non-functional device, and will likely be deprived of use for well over a month. I didn't pay that money to NOT have a phone for such a long time. Sony knew of the production fault, or should have by mid-November, but instead of addressing the issue the right way and providing a replacement product without the fault they are taking weeks and weeks to "look for parts" "evaluate replacement requests" and the like. That is not why I selected what I once thought was a quality electronics manufacturer, Sony. I will seriously reconsider purchasing Sony products in the future. One thing that sets a quality brand apart from others is that if you sell a defective product, which happens to the best of them, you make it right and replace it immediately. It seems Sony does not care as much as it once did to stand behind its brand and provide its customers the value they pay a premium for. There were plenty of other cell-phones out there I could have purchased that would have worked right away, and if not, would have been replaced within a few days by the manufacturer, instead of Sony taking month or more. Not sure Sony can make up the tarnish this puts on their brand for me. Very disappointed.

Lol. Bunch of liers. The phone glass pannels cannot crack on their own. I own a unit myself. dropped it twice. once hit the stairs. (iron) and once hit the floor. No scratch, no dent, no crack no nothing. Just dont mistreat phone. Dont overcharge, (i feel battery expanding is related to back glass crack) overheat, (overusage of phone's capability) and everything will be fine. Others are just forcefully trying to "fix" their phone that they feel is misaligned or something but i repeat, you just mistreat yor phones. Another is that your unit could have been a demo unit as manufacturers use low quality of material for their prototype or demo unit.

I faced the same problem within 3 days of using my new phone. other than this problem the phone is too good. It has amazing display and i liked the camera features. However, Sony refunded me the full amount when asked instead of replacement.

I wanted to buy the Z1 Compact but decided to wait for Z3c but so many people are complaining about their rear glass panels cracking. Now I'm so nervous, pls tell me if this is true or not.

i am amazed how many people think THIS phone should be bullet proof!
i read the most ridiculous things here!
hell im gonna buy a car and crash it! cause im a lousy driver!
and then im gonna blame the manufacturer replying their car is weak and damaged it self on the crash and they should pay for the repairs!!
you people are butter fingers for sure!
never in over 10 years reading phones reviews i've read so much wining about cracked screens AND some screens appear to be cracked by magic cause they did no not fall at all!
they just appeared CRACKED by a mysterious force!

To recommend anything , I have two weeks with the phone, not dropped or hit me , but crashed back , validating vendor warranty
in my case Telcel, washed his hands saying it is not a detail factory (it only display the month warranty say you have them ) , they have to send it to evaluate the Sony company, however it is very likely
I have to cover the total repair , technical service people tell me that the range ( z1, z2 , etc ) if you have this in detail, but they had not
presented it crashed without a blow , fall or caused by the user.

Z3C - 4.6inch 720p
Z3 - 5.2inch 1080p
Z3C has .5inch smaller screen & lesser pixels so lesser load on both battery & SOC which leads to longer battery life than Z3..

Two weeks after purchasing the phone, it fell about 40cm out of my pocket onto a pile of clothes. Screen shattered. Sony won't do jack about it - have to send it away to be assessed under warranty. And pretty sure that as it's a drop they won't cover it.
Was really liking the phone, but if it can't survive a short drop onto something soft... Well, I wasted my money is all I can say.
Seriously unimpressed.

Really the only problem with construction is that there are gaps everywhere where dust and dirt get accumulated, spoiling the immaculate looks. Still looks great from a distance... Didn't try anything with water.

How can the Endurance Rating be higher for this one when compared to Sony Xperia Z3. Xperia Z3 has more battery and the only difference between them is the screen size.

the 20.7 MP camera is very good im my opinion.
and im sure with more updates it will be better.
the Z3C phone is a bit new in the market and im sure sony with update it more specially with Android lollipop around th corner.
Z4 is only due to be presented in MARCH maybe April Next year. you may in be for a long wait.
Gorilla Glass is overrated. seriously!

sony use its own screen protection called dragontail rather than gorilla and its seem to be better

I really wanted to buy this Z3C for it's normal size,camera with a dedicated key and amazing battery but may wait for Z4C with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 both sides and an improved camera firmware.
