Hi People! I hope you help on this:
I bought Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803) and I´m using it for some days (without a sim card, I did not buy one yet). I saw many sites (including this one) that say very good things about Z3C battery life. Unfortunately, I just don´t see that. When I first charged it, my phone was with 64 % of charge (I honestly don´t know if I should use it before first charge).
After I did a simple test: play a HD video on youtube at top volume using wi-fi - in 30 minutes, 10 % of battery decreased. I downloaded at play store an app "Antutu Tester" to do a full test of the smartphone battery. The result was 6255.
Please, is all this normal??? Should I change my phone?
I must say that everything else on my phone is very fluid and cool: on Antutu benchmark v5.1.5 it was 43648. One last thing: this is my first smartphone so here is the reason of all doubts. Please, help me.

Lisa, 03 Nov 2014I am due for an upgrade, should I get the Z3 compact or the Z2?If you watch lots of videos and do lots of high end gaming go for z2(because of its larger screen size, but note: both the device have awesome display) and if you want latest features, lossless audio experience, slightly better camera and have small to medium sized palm then go for z3 compact. Both are good and even I was confused between z2 and z3 compact, and I chose z3 compact. But it is upto you which you prefer full sized smartphone or a more practically better sized compact device.

My goodness zooming in 4K video recording and i got 20 mins so far and still could record more..My arma got aching after 20 mins but other smartphones stop at 5 mins..It did get warm which is will do but i am so impressed with this phone..Other phones are bigger so can have more heat dissipation but only do 5 mins 4k vid record,,this is tiny and goes at least 20 minutes.
I need more practice with camera but up to now it will do me.
Screen is in another world compared to early Sony models and full brightness is really bright with white backgrounds i.e. when your in settings.
This phone is full of options its feature packed.I have had only one weird thing,,when i have drained it to zero battery and charged back up to full as part of my battery breaking in ritual you have to hold the power button for 10 seconds or more for it to power up.

Iam using this phone since 2 weeks now, its just awesome. No issues at all. will update with my complete user experience after completing 1 month with this device.

So guys before i rush off and get this device. Has anyone had any issues with self cracking screen. It was rampant with the z1c. I want to be sure its not the same with this one. Please anyone?

This piece of crap sucks! not even 24 hours in my hands and the accelerometer just broke down.In the test the x,y and z axis show 0.0000. DO NOT PURCHASE THE Z3 COMPACT! I moved from samsung expecting more but got dossapointed.

How does this fast charge work? Just done test charging from dead for 30 minutes and its at 20% not 60%.

If i, who dont have a Z3C, came here and said my Z3C fell from 3 meters and survived you would instantly believe it, and even repost my story on other forums. So fanboyish and pretending you are not, that hilarious, have to wonder what hit you on the head as a baby, must have been quite a big bang.

It was of course the iPhone 5s, still the greatest compact high end phone, just buy it with a powerbank if you are a heavy user.

Reminds me of comic magazines and cartoons, the self destruct button is always in the most central and easy to reach place, its like begging for disaster to happen, not so far from what Sony has done here.

Dropped Z3 Compact from 8 inches and screen shattered. It didn't land on screen. It hit bottom right corner. No damage to corner, but had a small scuff. There is no way a screen should shatter from an 8 inch drop. I'm now in a battle with Sony about my "abuse" of the phone.
