I have read in many blogs and user reviews that the screen cracks all by itself. To those who own this beast, is there any truth to it? I really wanted to buy this phone but I'm still waiting for comments about this issue. Probably gonna wait at least three months just to be sure. Don't want to spend a fortune and find out later that my screen cracked by itself.

But people are reporting back glass scra... moreI had a scratchguard installed on day one just outside the shop where I purchased the Z3C. Yes, there are cutouts for the speakers (obviously), for the front camera and the ambient light sensor.
The back of the phone has not gotten scratched till now (thankfully) since I put it in my jeans pocket and don't mix it with keys or anything else. It has fallen a few times from about 3-4 feet in my house and nothing has happened so far. i have ordered a case from Amazon.in but it is yet to arrive.
I am also using a magnetic charging cable (from ebay.in) so that I do not have to keep opening the flap to charge it. The flap seems flimsy and if it breaks, I wouldn't know where to find one since the Sony Center shops here are utterly useless - they didn't have a case nor a magnetic charging cable - they just looked at me as if I was asking them for some alien meteorite.

You can choose which apps you want to keep running even in power saving mode, but then, that defeats the whole purpose of the power saving mode :) But that being said, I also keep my whatsapp running even in stamina mode

Too thick and too busy design from the sides. Sony needs to make elegant devices rather than those that feel like kids toys.

try Xperia Z3 C- only weak point is sometimes weak speakers-hope I get them like this one.

Call Sony -make them do it, too late for me, probably ordering soon.
Also do the tempered glass thin screen protectors have cutouts for the Speakers and will they make one for back of this phone ?

I think much better if "Sony Xperia Z3 Compact" contained this specs:
1.Display.- 4.6" FHD - LTPS screen - Triluminos & X-reality - (441~ppi)
2.Memory.- 3 GB RAM
3.Chipset.- Snapdragon 805
Please do it new sony in this specs

Lol. Not really it's more Red than Orange to me .
And I asked two friends which was coolest color the female said the green one.
Male friend said" get the RED or the Black one".
So not just you.
Maybe in Person someone will say "Wow Mandarin Orange color from the Ming Dynasty "- but I doubt it- still Sony got two classy, safe colors and two wild ones.

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2014It isn't bad, it was stated as average by GSM Arena.Now that there are some Z3C s around though not in ,USA yet so,I have not personally heard the ,Z3C yet , I am fairly certain that there is some difference from unit to unit.
However volume of speakers and quality will be above average to excellent on most Z3Cs.

Iphone6 to be fair has a sharper focus Camera
and probably classier appearance to some .
And stuff that Iphone lovers like-if it had Smaller bezels so not as tall and a bigger battery, maybe Id even consider it, but I agree the Z3 C has a lot going for it.

ersonally im waiting on the next big camera one. then I probably jump ship to Lumia completely as there is 90% off apps that you need there now.
Or wait to see what next year brings for jolla.

I doubt if this Z3 Camera can hang with the very top like Lumias, and the Iphone 6 , or even the tier below them GS5 and Iphone 5 S based on a lot of reviews- people say Sony Software not quite maximizing Sensor...still excellent Camera.
I wish they made Android Lumias, I like the smaller sized ones about 5.1" tall.
