OR could be a different production/factory/speaker on that particular Z3 C.
Some are very loud, trying to figure this out-but I believe you.
S4 speaker is pretty loud louder than S5 but a good Z3 Compact should beat it easily for volume and tone.
HTC ONE M 8 wins against both Z3 and Compact.
The "better" versions if Z3 C will beat the HTC ONE MINI see video in this thread but not the full HTC ONE M 8.
If you are in that shop, try some other Music and report back- thanks.
Also I want EVERYONE to tell Sony to make SURE all factories are using the specified ( Dragontail ?) Glass on the front and something that does NOT scratch easily on the back.
No I don't work for Sony lol.

I wish I could listen to 3 first and check the Speakers-some units are better than others, ranging from almost equal to HTC ONE M 8 with a little less bass to about the same as Z2 and a few are slightly muffled at high volume.
I have heard some say speakers are not loud, but this is rare.
Are our speakers similar to the Italian Youtube Video ?

is NOT as loud as full sized HTC ONE M8, vs Z3 C

The better Z3 C speakers should be as loud as a full HTC ONE M8 or close but less full sounding( still really good).
GSM Arena-while I appreciate the scientific tests and detailed Reviews , I think the Z3 Compact is louder than most single speaker phones except
Possibly LG G3 -I have not had one in my hand yet but users and videos can't ALL be wrong.....

Battery ... moreI have a similar experience (phone auto starting in my pocket). I simply set a pattern lock and now it doesn't unlock by itself in my pocket and do things that I don't know of :)
Other than that, I seriously wish the speakers would have been louder. At full volume, while playing Youtube videos, the back of the phone vibrates with the sound, but the sound output is not all that great. Either that, or I'm going deaf :P

Again, I've heard people complaining about sony xperia z3 compact screen cracking all by itself. Just like Z1C, Z1, and Z2. Anyone who has the phone and having the same problem?

I've used it for 1 week now, it's truly awesome !
Battery lasts 2 days (20-30% left) with reasonable usage, and some tools that I don't need (Bluetooth, NFC, brightness 30%).
The screen is really using up most of the surface, yet you still have some room to hold it with your fingers.
The feeling in the hand is great, although you always have the sensation that you're gonna break it every second (fell once a meter high on the wooden floor, no problem). The back glass also makes it unstable on smooth surfaces ... you can see it (very) slowly slipping as you lay it on a bed/book. Just be careful.
I haven't tried it underwater yet, a friend of mine had its Z1 completely unusable 3 months ago after using it in a pool ...
The basic headphones in the package are good, you can hear everything outside, and feel like the sound is coming from a bigger space elsewhere (rather than from the little earplugs). I like it when I'm outside.
I also got the MDR-NC31EM headphones with noise-cancelling effect (for 1€ with the pre-order) which is really awesome when you have long subway/train trips (I use them 2 hours a day).
I have a small box in my bag with the 2 pairs of headphones, and I switch them when needed. Some people may find it annoying, but I don't mind.
Great phone, great speed, great design.
If I had a negative comment, well I'd say that the screen may be a little too sensitive. I use the "double tap to wake" option, and sometimes it starts doing weird things when I walk with it in my pocket (must be micro-bumping on my leg ...).
Also, the size/display of the built-in widgets are not really ergonomic, and they're not that useful.

Really how sensitive is this phone? I didnt even get a chance of enjoying all the glorified specs. After cracking the screen is not touch sensitive at all! To make it worse NO SCREEN REPLACEMENTS are available in the market, how bad can it get? Too much from the wallet yet so little to enjoy. I must say amidst being an avid lover of sony, IM TRULY DISAPPOINTED

Hi, Can anyone with Z3/Z3 dual answer this question?
My Z3 dual D6603 have a problem with call echo while speakerphone enabled during call.
Callers hear their own echo with a 1 second delay. Seems like the mic on Z3 is picking up the voice and sending it back to the caller.
Do you have that problem? or is my unit defective?

franj, 07 Oct 2014Guys,Xperia Z2 o Z3 compact? I need a new smartphoneif you do not care about the display dimensions, z 3 compact is better in all side (check the review and compare the numbers of the performance tests), z2 better only if u want a big screen flagship (5.2 inches), also it has a better display resolutions than z3 compact, but if i were u, z3 compact diffidently will be my choice.
