i think it is the best compact out there in this chaotic market. I like Sony's approach on making compact/mini version of its flagship device. The ideaof keeping most of the hardware specs, especially the SoC and GPU but making it smaller and reducing the screen resolution is relatively more rationale and welcoming compared to other OEM's approach.

The fingerprint reader is yet not a essential feature a smartphone should feature at all, only missed by iPhone and Motorola users. And when speaking about iPhone users, they should not switch to Android if they are even just a little skeptical about a new phone.

I have been waiting a lot for this device. I think this is the one. I did not like the glossy plastic back cover on the xperia Z1C and had mixed feelings about its camera software. If sony decided not to put screen/back cover protectors as the IFA units revealed they are offering for sure an outstanding/durable product. About the price. I will wait a little bit (3 months) to buy this unit. As usually I think there will be no US-offering for a long time, so I think sony is making here a big mistake. And about keeping the same camera sensor, I would buy even a 13MP unit as long the quality go hand in hand with the hardware. Greetings.

Only camera is same on Z3c, it is a downgraded Z3, doesnt even have same RAM, and still they want to charge 500 Euro for it. Way too much for a midranger with only a flagship processor. Hopefully it will be considerably cheaper, then it may be an ok phone. I always felt that also Z1c wasnt worth it and it was LESS downgraded vs Z1 than Z3c is vs the Z3.
Z3c is quite far down on the daily interest rating, and rightfully so, good proof of how uninspiring this phone is. The public opinion is crystal clear.

Believe me...Only Sony Compact version is best of all android mini version ....bcoz They use the same specification of Z3 5"....
