make a backup on PC companion, factory reset and restore. I have amazin battery life in use 2 day on normal usage, over night 1% drawning nowifi and nodata.

But when after updating to 5.1.1via PC Companion camera has improved but battery suffered. This is the result of companies always have a short time to market perspective, Quality suffered.

I bought z3compact for 500us dollor in singapore.i had a choice between htc butterfly2 and this z3compact.same specification but htc worth only 250us dollor.i thought sony camera may better than htc.i was wrong. Sony camera is bullish at all.nothing better.can't believe it has 20mega pixels.after i update to 5.0. Battery was drain so quite.i regret i made update.if i can go back time before i buy,i will chose htc without hesitate. Everyone please don't upgrade z3 compact

Loved my Z3 Compact when it worked - motherboard failed, it was in repair for 7 weeks, died again three days after getting it back...just going to give up on it

After upgrading to 5.1.1 mobile phone is super fast, the camera improved, but the battery is too bad to 5.0.2 I took almost 2 days, now not a day of moderate use.

I was terribly disappointed with z3c camera, in a shop i compared it with the Samsung A5, the images,letters are vivid on A5 even when I zoomed but in z3c it's blurry even i captured 5 times vs a single shot with A5.

People, make FACTORY RESET after each system upgrade to avoid lagging or slugginess. Of course backup your apps/files before.

Ever since i upgrade to 5.1, battery draining worse. Previously can stand 1,5days. Now less than day. Sighhhhhhh

The water resistant installed on this lovely sony phone is for only accidental situation.

I shouldn't have updated mine. The promised endurance rating of 101hrs is not true with 5.0.2 Lollipop, please Sony fix this battery draining issue with the next version 5.1.1.

Sony Xperia z series is worst mobile series in now time. I had Sony Xperia Z3, I put my mobile into water for 10cm for less than a minute ,, before putting into water I locked all jacks,, but then also water get inside the mobile,,, I gave my mobile to Sony service centre in REWARI and after 2 week they told me that Rs31000 will be charged to repair. That is stupidity. Cost of Sony Xperia Z3 is Rs36000. Sony Xperia company just make fool of their customers. So please don't buy Sony Ericsson mobile for waterproof purpose

my friend has Z2 which has fallen many times but doesnt even have scratch or dent on aluminium frame!
Even samsung had s6 production issues like scratched lens cover and back glass

Whatever lollipop version you get, DO NOT UPGRADE! Do not upgrade to any new version unless you HAVE TO. I upgraded and battery life plummeted. OS lagged. I press google play and it takes 3 seconds to launch. Coming from the first time I had the phone, it was less than 1 second. Now I don't know if the phone registers my touch anymore. I have now sent the phone in to sony for the SECOND time for them to fix this. DO NOT UPGRADE.
