Beautiful Phone. Beautiful user Interface (Much better than Samsung) and an Unbeatable Camera. May get a bit toasty at times when streaming a lot, and a very fast GPU, (Snappy 810)

Great phone. Any chance of a DUAL SIM version of this phone? How about a stylus (similar to s-pen). I want a small phone and this is the perfect size. Plus removable battery.

Root your device and find a software to underclock your CPU. I guess this will solve the overheating problems.

Alright guys, thanks to all of you, but what I was saying is that I Never play any video games with my z5c.
For an exemple right now I used to do some snapchat and my phone is Burning...
The app Cooler Master tell me that my phone is at 43.3°c...
I send him to sony assistance it's not normal.

I live Queensland in Australia, and it gets very hot sometimes. But however my Z5c seems to just sit in the 24-30 degrees area. I use facebook and Instagram a lot but the temperature stays the same around 27. But when i go play games like World of Tanks or GTA, it may get a little warm around 30-33. But what i have to say is that Z5c isn't the best choice for gaming but however it's an excellent all-rounder phone. If you want a gaming phone, stick to HTC or keep it simple with Apple. And NOOOOOOOOO not Samsung... The touchwiz UI is really crap. I have used a Samsung before, it lags sooooooo much after like 5 months use. (Galaxy S6). Stick with Sony, its a realiable brand with top quality but may be a bit pricey sometimes. (Damn! i have just wrote an essay)

Samsung stayed away from this chipset because of this.......it gonna need a heat sink Like a pc processor to perform like a pro...

Hello guys,
I have some problems with my all new z5c,the heating is really important, yesterday he hit 44.5°c (112.1 farenheit) I never play video games, only listening to music with Spotify and do somes instagram & Facebook...
I used to be on a z3c and I never had any problem with it.
My question is : do you guys already hit that heat with your z5c ?

One thing in sony experia z5 compact is my complaint, the water resistant 1.5 meters above within 30 minutes....what happen is my experia compact z5 got damage when i submerge it in pool. I question the capability of the phone, because is in the specification.why got damage when i submerge it?.,...

Except that this is an excellent choice...... Do not use cover too... It's a fashion statement plus it's helps to cool down quicker than being covered.......

I have this phone and I must say it´s a great one, it heats up a little bit sometimes but never as much as my old Samsung S6 which I had to sell because of that, if you´re thinking about getting a small phone this one is your option, battery is great, camera is good, internet browsing works very well, screen size is bigger than the one on the Iphone SE and extremely sharp (also this phone is cheaper). I have two phones right now my Huawei Mate S and this one and I have to say that this little one is my favourite.

Cidell, 26 Jun 2016Are this phone good for gamingI'm not a huge gamer, but love real-racing-3. Used to play it loads on my Xperia Z1. On the Z5 compact it's jittery. No idea what's up with that. Anybody else finding a problem with RR3? Perhaps its a coincidental game issue? (I think I wasn't playing at all for a few months during which I swapped phones). On paper(?) the Z5 compact does have some slower CPU cores, but then has twice as many cores - which incidentally should be plenty fast enough for any game. It's mostly down to GPU, which apparently is better.
