Updated to Nougat in my xperia z5, completely satisfied, it has become faster, more fluid, battery life is same as before, just go for it.

hi. plz help me for choosing between Xperia X & Z5. i think Xperia X have better selfie camera and newer cellphone, but Z5 has stronger chipset and better battery. the price of both of them are about same in my country. plzzz help me.

I have z5 and im panning to update it to nougat , as ive read the comments below, I found more bad comments in the nougat update. any suggestion if I will update it or not ?

I have been using the device since last august. The battery consumption at times is very fast. screen takes 21% and idel phone sucks about 14%. The phone is not even lasting a full day.

i have updated my sony xperia Z5 dual with nougat latest firmware (32.3.A.0.376)....i have several problems after update, which are :
- fast charging has a new brand now : slow charging
- ringtone volume becomes goddamn suck, its volume is goddamn reduced by sony R&D but suprisingly its alarm and notification are still normal
- that dialpad volume is fucking loud, even far louder than ringtone volume...
- more battery drain
hope sony will fix it soon or else i will unlock this phone and install another firmware..
everyone who got seduced by this update...please refrain and don't ever try to update to this firmware version except if you have already unlocked your phone....damn i regret updating my firmware with this sh*t

i already update to the new nougat 32.3.A.0.376 malaysian. the update was a big mistake. the fast charging are not fast now and a bit of interface issue.

For those who wish of purchasing this phone, please reconsider. Why?
After updating to Nougat, this is what we get:
- The lock screen still the old one SONY (Home screen looks like when I got my Z5 10 months ago).
- No new refreshing UI basically nothing changes. Just the double window and the NOUGAT's LOGO (If that's the case this update is only a compensation).
- Updates were halted after launching it less than 4 days. (Which is totally a rubbish).

purchased this phone in dec 2015,and its gone kaput in jan2017,the sony centere said the mother board has to be repaired,i was a sony fan all along,but with consecutive models failing within an year.i guess they dont make the same quality as sony erricsson did.i had a p900 a p1 both far ahead of there times and functioned well,
the xperia z series z2, z3 and z5 was big let down.had all the 3all becoming duds within 12 months .sorry i have to finally let go my foolish attachment to the sony brand.

The Nougat Update is useless, phone contacts looks and feature as become worst, so irritating that thinking of throwing phone. No new features added other than google as given. My request to sony please change the feature of contact and phone dialin asap.

I just bought the z5 just 2 months ago and yesterday I got the android nougat update and I updated it now the problem is my phone speaker quality is gone volume is not as it was specially for the incoming calls and games the volume is very low and if I play song in the music app there is a unusual loud sounds creating buzz sound too I contacted the Sony customer care I did and the asked me repair my phone via pc companion I did it too still the same if anyone can help me on this issue I will be so grateful
