    What i said is very much make sense. Its so technical. Z5p run at FHD so its recognized as FHD phone. But, we can make our device to be recognized in the resolution and aspect ratio as we want... with a build.prop editng.

    Still the question is why? They promised to bring UHD video streaming, and this little thing still happen? It looks like they have no idea what to do with their phone..

      Got mine yesterday, The fast charger and stereo earphones are included in the box in the ME. Stunning display and build quality. The back mirror can be used to take a super selfie using the main camera.

        Dear friends now i am using this phone for last almost 15 days and here is my personal view for this z5p dual.

        1.built quality is good i have crom with this u will get mirror back finish.
        Bit slippery but good in looks not as good as Samsung note 5 or s6 but definitely it feels premium in hand.
        2.display 4k yet i have not recognize any big difference between FHD and this 4k.
        3.Camera 23MP good image quality but when u zoom it gets blurred badly same with video recording i can't see 4k recording effects at all so how it is best camera in world.
        4.operating 3gb RAM 1.2 GB is used by system 800MB by basic application that means 64% is always occupied RAM i really concerned in future how this RAM will work.
        5. Battery life is not for 2 day it gives 24 hr back up for normal use 15hr major user.battery takes 2hr to get full charge.
        6.battery savings mode are good.

        If u compare with Samsung note 5 this phone is good sony z5p.
        Because of battery, dual sim,expanding sd card looks wise good...

          To people with no ill intentions here though:
          It is because apps ( you tube, browser) do not support 4k streaming, due to android build limitations. Marshmallow will rectify it I believe.

            Overall its a great phone.
            But heard that the set is not included an earphone to enjoy the Hi-res audio. Also heard that the battery charging is slow, 30% only in 30 min, because the charger itself is not supported.
            UHD and FHD is hardly to see the difference by bare eye.
            But Z5P have the best camera quality & dust/water proof is serious to consider about.

            Im going to have mine this mid Dec, even if it is costly at $870, they come with bonus of smart speaker BSP60 which if you buy separately will cost you almost $350. Dunno about other country, but its the offer avalible only for preorder here in Indonesia. I dont think youll got the bonus if you buy after the preorder session ended.

                  1. 4K in a phone is new technology. It'll take some time for it to gain traction.
                  2. We don't have a SoC that can smoothly handle 4K resolution at all times. While Snapdragon 810 can support 4K resolution, it might lag during gaming.
                  I'm looking forward in seeing how the Z5P will game in 4k though.

                    1) Either you can record 4K video using your Z5 phone, where you can view the content in the video recording in your device.

                    2) Or else you can copy the 4K video to your device by external source and you can play the video and enjoy 4K resolution.

                    Android update 5.1.1 doesn't support 4k resolution content so all the other content will be with 1080P.

Since 4K is first time in a phone, it'll take some time for 4K app icons, compatibility etc. To come. Calling this situation as Sony's laziness proves you're a pathetic troller, whose mind is full of hatred about Sony, and hence blab nonsense.

                            The UHD phone is new. I am not the expert. Since i only now a little about basic mod, If I try to mod the UI. There is a lot to do. I think i need to create and collect many app icon in 800dpi.

                            While to make phone run FHD we only need copypasting, bcz we still have we need.

                              Yes, i have limited knowledge about ROMs. I just installed them, and mod them a little.

                              That why i know that install ROM for FHD will results the QHD phone run at fhd, but photo and video still displayed in full resolution. Just try it, prove it.

                                for 4k video on my x5p, i watch some youtubes that say its 4k, and the only quality to reach is 1080p options.. well so is it tat i havent seen a real 4k video yet on my phone. how can i see one, recomendation anyone?

G3 and G2 have different displays, hence different digitiser drivers, different cameras, other hardware changes etc. You seem to have limited knowledge when it comes to ROMs.

You can pr... moreYou know, it would've been easier for Sony to make the Z5P run 4K all the time. But performance will take a huge blow. So Sony made a more complicated software that switches between 4K and FHD. Those you purchased the Z5P are satisfied with their purchase, and unlike you, they know much more about the phone.
                                        And its not about resolution either. Z5P display destroys iPhone 6S plus' display in terms of color accuracy, vibrancy and brightness. It's also better than Note 5's display in most scenarios ( see the video link which I posted a few days ago)
