Midrangers like XA1 Ultra may not be updated to Android 8 because of the chip. Z5 would probably be updated to it. Look, a Google Neuxs device with the same chip as Z5 (Snapdragon 810) and got Android Beta Program still can run Android 8

I heard from JerryRigEverything about Sony Xperia Z5 premium it has 2 version just like Samsung on their Galaxy S7 and S8, US & Global version, I dont know code version for these 2 version, but What I want to tell you about, There is No Fingerprint scanner on side right on the Power/Lock screen button for US version... suprisingly enough.
Global version has all content on this specifications, but the problem is on US version. that's all I wanted to tell

I currently own this phone and although i could spend all day boasting about it quite frankly i wont.
This phone still has the same issue as the previous Xperia Z range, the phone bends.
My phone was less than 3 months old when i noticed the phone looked a little mis-shapen, so i decided to log a call with Sony and as the phone was expensive enough as it is i never purchased insurance, only to be told that unless i wanted to pay £300+ to get it fixed then there was nothing they could do... and even then there was no guarantee that they could fix it. I kept being passed on from manager to manager as my argument was it should be covered in the warranty only to be told that the warranty only covers manufacturing defects to which my response was surely it is, if i cannot even stick the phone ion my pocket without it bending, but no matter how hard i tried pressing my argument i was never going to get anywhere and their support team was useless, and in the end i ended up getting frustrated with their lack of help or support I just cut them off.
Overall it is a very strong and stable phone with very great performance just make sure if you're planning to buy it buy a strong case to prevent it from bending, and dont stick it in your jeans pocket.
Overall: 8/10 (looses two marks for the build quality and the fact it bent)

cillah, 23 May 2017is it advisable to buy this phone?If u are the kind of person who like to watch videos get this because of the stunning 4k display. I would recommend u to get this phone or if u want more performance too then u should wait for XZ Premium
