Faithful to real life image is an image that has basic contrast, saturation and very slightly washed out blacks, not pure blacks. So imo mobile screens (including sony's) tend to overdone things mostly. Don't get me wrong I like it, sometimes.
I wouldn't mind having the option to edit my display settings like contrast and saturation to match what I want, like my tv. That's my only complain about mobile companies. They HAVE the means to do it so I don't get it. It seems pretty simple.

I bought my s4 when it came out and still using it, no problems with the screen until now. If you never had an AMOLED, you should try. Plus, 4k on tiny screens are useless, because you can't see the pixels from about 350 ppi, and it will take a lot of ram and battery and create ton of heat (snapdragon 810 lmao)

But the point is, after a few months, the screen starts yellowing due to blue subpixels losing brightness. At least this is not the case with LCD. LCD remains like it was.

When viewing 4K content, the display automatically switches to 4K. Dynamic resolution, you can call that. Smart Sony ;-)

Sony does wonders with 3gb ram, I assure you, whilst Samsungs touchwiz with 4gb has the same problems as usual....bad programmers. Choose wisely...choose Sony ;-)
