Latest Rumours are that Sony finally releasing the Z5 Ultra, early next year, with the 820 and 4k display and hopefully the 6.4" display, but I still love my Z Ultra.

The adreno 430 will definitely be able to power that 4k display won't be a problem but I just wish Qualcomm had made a custom 810 chip rather than using the present one. This was rushed and just a stop gap for the 820, but with the 820 ready early next year they could have made a speecial custom version of the 810 to run up till Q2 next year. I know they have released an improved chip but it's still not using their custom cores which I had hoped they would.

Sony does have its ways though, annoying thought but this right here has to be the best smart phone in the world now . the fingerprint positioning is just perfect plus all the claims here are actually proven unlike samsung and the likes

The 4k is not essential as the difference will be hard to perceive. I would prefer the Z5 with the Snapdragon 820, 4Gb RAM and 4200mAH but it seems that may appear with the Ultra but at 6.44 inch that is a little large for the average size pocket

what's new with the 810 snapdragon? on z3+ it was overheating? why are they still using it? didn't sony hear users feedback? didn't they learn anything?

Anonymous, 08 Sep 2015go figure -amoled degradation, amoled yellowing after a yea... moreWell these issues are real but amoleds have about four to five years live and while i faced burn in on note 2 it was after about two and a half years. the effect on the note 2 is really so small you will need to look for it. but with time amoleds are becoming more long lasting and its amoleds that display the most accurate colors according to display mate. and i said iphone has the best lcd screen because it excells in most areas such as contrast and color reproduction as well as screen viewing angles. and to be fair i havent seen the xperia z5 premium so let me just give it the benefit of doubt.

You are right just partly, because 16-38Mp matters. I do not know how are those of sony, but that from samsung (my note3) are great(for 13Mp camera I mean). That was until I took a shots with 38Mp and saw awesome details without noise/blurr(usefull hi iso) (who cares then about some total color accuracy?). BTW did you see 1020s details in FHD video? Its like 4K one in others. Not to mention real feel of recorded audio up to 130dB, in comparison all androids got about max 100dB without distortion.

Seriously, iPhone doesn't 'hold a candle' against current android flagships. Look where the 41 MP lumia 1020 ranks. Even below Galaxy S4. So yes, more megapixels doesn't mean better camera. Even the Z1, for example, with 20.7 MP, can't match the 16 MP note 4 camera. There are.much more important aspects than megapixels, you know.

Most people prefer accurate real life natural colors, which iPhone and Sony and LG provide. Also, everyone knows how good Samsung's lagwiz is.

Are the phones really worth the premium price that Samy is charging only to drop it by 15-25% in 2-3 months after launch? Was one of the first to get the first Note; but now am sick of Samsung mobiles which lacks 'new' innovation. Samy is going the Nokia way i.e. sales trend will head down south. Better to try out the other brands.
