My wishlist for the Xperia Z6:
Same as the Xperia Z5 Premium (e.g. screen size, 4K screen, battery capacity, design), but with these changes:
1) Snapdragon 820
2) 4 Gb of RAM
3) USB-C
4) Android 6.0
5) 8 MP front camera

They still keep the 3GB RAM since the Z2 era eh?
Releasing a 4K in a phone, in a 5.5" screen is quite extreme, but hey, so does 2K. Its great that Sony really showing that they are a contender in the smartphone business, and the camera improvements looks quite promising. The SD810 is bearable, even in 4K but the thing that worries me is actually the bigger memory space it'll took for the 4K stuff, even with SD card.
Overall, I think this is a bold move from Sony, and im hooked. What they really need is A BETTER MARKETING TEAM. Sony have a gladiator-class phones since the Z era, but the terrible marketing really bring the company down. Better marketing, better sales.

I see a lot of funny ppl here.... when sony used FHD till z4/z3+, they said just FHD?
Now sony used 4K, they sounded like was that necessary??
LG, Samsung and other brands are so obsessed with 2K and SONY just showed what they can do better. SONY wouldnt released 4K with 3430mAh if the device couldnt handle.
Knowing abt Sony power management of its devices, i think it will be just fine with 4K.

The thing is, when Xperia z ultra fist debut about 2-3 years ago, this device is heavily criticized because of that 6.4 inch screen. It's the largest smartphone ever made. Even bigger than the earlier SG Mega 6.3. The z ultra series and both people missed for an upgrade and hate for an future upgrade. Btw, I used Xperia Z ultra and I definitely want an upgrade for the Z Ultra line.

In 2014, when Fifa world cup in Brazil, Sony began to use 4K technology to steam the match. And Nowadays, many video even on YouTube will be available in 4K resolution. Sony's 4K technology on smartphone is just the beginning. Later on, many companies try to enter 4K screen market that Sony already enter the market earlier.

AnonD-411807, 02 Sep 2015do u think 3430 is enough for 4K display??? Firstly, it depends on how you use it. Secondly, I think it's enough for 4K screen. Sony is one of the company which also concern about power management. With standard or even lesser MAh battery, the phone can last longer than you expect. Maybe not up to 2 days like Sony promises to us, nevertheless, the battery could stand longer. I use Xperia Z ultra with 3050 MAh battery and it stays for long time. Btw, Stamina mode are great power management offered by the company.

I don't even wanna know the price tag in the U.S. for this thing. I'm gonna guess $850 minimum, maybe higher... I'm happy to see they're throwing at least a 3450 mAh battery in there, still think it should be closer to 4000 to combat that power hogging 4K display. You can't tell me for a display of that intensity in it's infancy of being in a phone that it won't eat through a battery like an untamed beast.

And please don't say that anything below 6.4" is too small, unless you're a giant. Sony released a flagship phablet, and its called the Z5 Premium. Period.
