This should have been the Z5 Ultra with 6.4" screen and approx. 684 ppi, where the hell is it ? Also can't believe they haven't provided 64gb internal memory. Anyway I shall wait till this time next year in case they release a Z6 Ultra, this is way too small compared to my Z Ultra.

Z5 premium is also not without any compro... more1) there is something call lens-shift image stabilizers on the z5 (It uses the gyro sensor and a pair of magnets to control the position of the lens) quoted from the preview of the z5 in the camera section.
2) how do you even know how powerful is the flash, the could have increase power output of the flash. Moreover, no one on the internet have mentioned about the flash, unless you went to the sony booth at IFA 2015.
3) you can easily buy a cheap ir blaster for any phone that has a 3.5mm headphone jack(http://vr-zone.com/articles/hiremote-adds-ir-blaster-just-smartphone/77640.html).
4) those huge bezels are to prevent the front and back glass from cracking when dropped. Previous z phone owners reported that the glass cracked easily when dropped.
5) sony fixed the "fixed" sd 810 overheating issue. Yes qualcomm sort of fixed the overheating issue by reducing heat generated by a few degrees but not a whole lot.

The camera and software were developed by Sony Alpha camera engineers, so they're serious about the camera. 2. The flash on the Z3 is bright enough. Seriously you talk like there's no flash. 3. Bezels? Are you blind? This phone has a screen to body ratio of 71.5%, so definitely not thick. Thick bezels are below 67%, like iPhone 6. Plus the Z5 Premium has stereo speakers. 4. Yes, Snapdragon 810 is causing a lot of confusion. But Sony says they've adopted a lot of new tech and they reckon the overheating problems have been solved. Well let's wait for a review then.

The same thing people said when LG put QHD display on Snapdragon 801 (Adreno 330). If Snapdragon 801 could handle QHD, then Snapdragon 810 will handle 4K. Sony, and LG, do proper research and development, so they know what they're doing.

Hello All Mobile Fans
Sony xperia Z 5 premium is more better than sony ever made smart phone but three things lack which is now more important in current market phone trend.
1- Ram is 3 GB why not 4 GB . It should be 4 GB ram
2- Design is just like previous all sony phones. Sony is investing so much but why it does not change design looks just like samsung s 6 edge has different elegant design. Moreover Sony make Rectangular design It should be round edges just like s 6 edge. Rectangular phone seems like brick in hand.
3-Camera Lacks optical image stabilization which is very important because when we take pic movement ruin the pic quality.

Deepfreeze, 03 Sep 2015How do u know that it will not overheat?the processor is too weak for such a resolution. has to Laging and baging . do not rejoice too much, with such resolution and processor s810 has to heat as the burner of the stove. I bet it will be a great failure of Sony.

secondary cam is 5px. isnt front cam good enough, dont work on tat, work on the second one, not jus stop but let them catch up with one another

No OIS is not a problem.
Since last years Z3 sony has intelligent active mode which sony says is far more superior than OIS.
unlike samsung sony probably will be updating their z series better.
I couldn't believe when they announced Sony Z will get android lollipop update. The device was basically updated from 4.1.2 jellybean to 5.02 lollipop. 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 to 4.3 to 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 and now 5.02

I am very happy sony is back again! Z5 has the ultimate specifikations;its fast,4k screen(finaly and sony is first with ultimate resolution),fast charging,23 mp camera,looks awesome,etc.

Z5 premium is also not without any compromise the disadvantages it has are as follows:
1) No OIS
2) Pony (No powerfull) Flash light.
3) No IR remote control
4) Huge Bezels with those deminsions they cud have easly given it atleast a 5.8" screen
5) SD810 ( they say that the overheating problem got fixed with the new version of sd 810 however there is still lots of confusion regarding the same).
But i have to admit that Sony Xperia Z5 looks very premium.
But sadly its not going to be worth the price sony wud ask for cause of the above pointers.
Note5 has OIS , great flash light for low light pics ,5.7 inch screen , has 14nm chipset which does not overheats, but it does not have water and dust proofing.wth is this man , no OEM wants to give a balanced featured smartphones.

We're yet to have a full day of battery life (Heavy, on-screen usage) and this is much more important than hollow gimicks. So until they achieve a full day of usage, then making the phone more power hungry is not acceptable.

i donot belive ,sony do full upgrade finger print sensor, 23MP camera sensor with 24mm focal lenght 4K monitor WOW! LG, samsung DEAD.
