I love this phablet.I also loved my Note2 but the screen was not big enough.Screen on z ultra us big enough.
Both Note 2 and my Ultra does not fit in my pocked.
So why not go all the way and get one out of two?
I needed to carry my Samsung 7.7 tablet. with me along with my Note 2.Thanks to z.ultra.I It,is my phone and my tablet.
I was considering Note 3.(I.am Samsung fan)which is wonderful phablet.
But only 5.7" and I never got used to S.pen.to small in my big hands.I,can write on my Ultra with normal pen.
I,is not flawless thou.
camera is not the best.
the flip over charge port is not made to last.
The sides are the weakest part,are starting to bend.
(Does someone know of good small bumper?
So I don't relay on the water secure.

glass is so fragile! and reflective. sony warranty not so good as well.... never again i will buy any sony products disappointed.... =(

But if you plan to play games with it, I think the Note 3 will last longer as it has a slightly higher battery capacity and smaller screen. I must also tell you that some games seems to drain battery power more than others, so it will also depend on which games you really intend to play. For more demanding games, expect to lose about 15% to 20% of battery power for an hour worth of gaming. And if possible, buy a magnetic dock charger, as opening those cover flaps wears out the rubber seals rather quickly.

Disappointed about the camera when in dark places though, I mean Sony could've put in a flash light u know.

took delivery of the.Z Ultra today. So glad I ignored all the nay sayers.. Love it lightning quick. Brilliant display.. Don't hesitate if you want one...

Hi guys, anyone can help me coz i'm planning to buy. Which is better to buy? Sony Xperia Z Ultra or SOny Xperia Z Ultra LTE? Does the Lte version drain battery easily? Do I need to buy a screen protector for this phablet? Thanks a lot..

And sometimes i get wierd looks from the others but the phone is perfect for me and i can even carry it in my jeans front pocket while riding my motorcycle.

i just bought xperia z ultra. version i got is c6833.. what's the difference with a c6843 version?
can i return it to the shop i bought and replace it with c6843 version?

Don't buy this phone. My 5 year old iPhone with a smashed screen works better. The Bluetooth is poor. It doesn't maintain a connection with linked devices. This is a Sony device however the sound levels and volume on the music is poor. It is supposed to be water proof/resistant however one drop of moisture/water/sweat on the screen and the thing goes berserk and re programs itself. When I uploaded the contacts, it deleted every contact going back nine months and reloaded every deleted contact I ever had. I now had up to 11 contacts with the same name with different numbers. Sony's advice - ring the numbers to find out which ones are correct. The screen is huge. We know that. However, the icons are tiny and cannot be modified. You end up looking like a fool holding this massive screen close to your farce to look at the tiny icons. In all, it's a joke.

I have been using this phone for over a month. And I must say that switching to this phone from Samsung S4 has its ups and downs. The 6.4 inch phone gave me a satisfaction I need having the most largest phone. The thinking big of Sony really made a mark on my experience and also on other people who saw my phone. The specs of the phone are good, and what I love is the built-in battery that Samsung doesn't have. But I suggest that if Sony would re-launch Z Ultra part 2 (just like the z1 and z2), make the camera to HDR, higher mp for front and rear cam and better pixel resolution for the screen. If these three were met, then I would say that Samsung must watch for whats to come from Sony.
