If you were actually serious about taking pictures (you're not), you wouldn't expect a smartphone to have good low-light capabilities anyway, and you'd know that LED flashes look terrible, thus you'd bring a real camera.
Battery on this is large. What type of drugs are you smoking that makes you think 3050 mah is small? Until the Z Ultra came out, everybody thought anything over 3000 mah in a phone was huge (which it is). Now that Sony is killing Samsung, however, the Samsung fanboys have to make something up to try to make Sony look bad.
Bottom line, the Note 3 is a total non-starter, end of discussion. It has already lost to the Z Ultra. Buy the Note 3 if you can't afford the Z Ultra. Better luck next year, Sammy.

It's big, fast, beautiful, enough for me to preorder it, Sony brand still quite strong in Indonesia, I'm not too concern about the lack of a led flash, I'm more concern about the battery life though, my current note 2 life depleted after approximately 10 hours of my everyday used

if it has no flash so don't say about bad okay go to market and buy DamdunG S4. 32etc They all have flash But dont have huge processor like This Huge One its The papa of Your SamSunD..its just a phone okay not a PC i m not Fan Of Sony nor a SamsunG i m the Fn of LG thats are btter then these Toys

[deleted post]Actually they didnt mention camera as a bad. They just confirm that Sony crippled the cam on purpose, using a low megapixel compared to the competition. Plus the missing flash. No, this giant phone is gonna fail, we already know that Samsung does not cripple their flagships, this is war and Sony is sending crippled forces to take on the well equipped Koreans, FAIL.
Battery, i was hoping this would be good at least, but ok, seems like Z Ultra is a total fail then. However there is hope still, this test used video playback as the main source of drainage, and this just isnt good on any 2013 Xperia model due to a bug in the Media Server, which was fixed in an update just this week for Xperia Z (allegedly). Xperia 2013 phones have ok battery for video playback if using for example MX Player. Not so important anyway, subpar cam in this price class is unforgivable, wait for Note 3, or wait half a year for Z Ultra II.

He is taking cluelessness to a new level. And increase exposure in low light, ahaha, what a genius he is. He probably put his spare wheel when his car run out of gasoline.

Happy to see another manufacturer take on sammys note series. Hope the handwriting recognition works well. Wouldn't take much for sony in the coming months to give us another more pocketable version of this with higher MP camera and LED flash.

Galaxy Note 10.1 is a tablet and it has camera flash.
Huawei Ascend Mate is a phablet and it has camera flash.

Bravia Engine is the most attractive thing in a phone.....it gives you a nice feel....reduces noise in pictures and brings real nice contrast to images and videos...Thats what Sony is famuos for.."The Bravia Engine", something which Samsung and other brands lack,i.e. to give a nice feel to customers...As for the flash...Noone really takes pictures at night...and low light is not a problem as you can increase the exposure value in low lighting condition...
