I guess you have forgotten that tablets too can have phone like functionality. So my theorey still stands.
And guess what? Even Sony thinks Z Ultra is a tablet. Here's how:
Sony Tablet Z:- 8 MP camera WITHOUT flash
Xperia Z Ultra:- 8 MP camera WITHOUT flash
Xperia Z and ZL:- 13 MP camera WITH flash
Sony didn't include a flash or their Exmor RS sensor because they knew they were designing a tablet.

You can CALL with it and it comes with an unusual screen size that's why Phone + Tablet = PHABLET.

I believe that this is it..
Whenever I visit this website, I check on this phone...these are signs that I am gonna buy it...I want an upgrade from my Galaxy Note N7000, and this is my phone...I swear, by the moon and stars in the Xperia....I will be there, in ultra..to the last letter (Z).
Document editor would have been a plus, but not a big deal, though!

I am not wasting a quarter cent on phones without flash. how can i shoot nice pix in low light illuminating environment? Simply tell the producer to include flash in the next version. the phone is great exactly the size i like but without flash scores the phone 0%

I love samsung. I am using samsung. But this time the long wait is over... I will buy Z Ultra. A lot better i supposed than Mega 6.3. Only the battery life is still questionable if it is gonna last long but it is a minor problem. There is a lot of remedy for that.
