I have always been big fan of Sony products and I still am but I think Samsung Mega is the largest size of phone that can fit in a pocket ..!! I got one and it is really good to have if you have another smart phone for more extensive use... anyways welcome to the phablets family Mr. Xperia Ultra :)

Inspired by Samsung Galaxy Note II..neways nice job by Sony...but battery is comparatively too small compared to screen size...it shud have been 4000mAh...sony is coming back to the market...

Z-alphabet means Everything's Smart. xperia z and zr having a 13mp camera then what about z ultra ?
just 8mp without flash & 3050 mah battery with 6.4inch Triluminos display & 330 gpu.
why l told very disappointed ? LED flash (reason).
Led flash is basically important in camera smartphones.
I give the short spec.
xperia z ultra (Advantages)
1. snapdragon 800
2. 330 gpu
3. Triluminos technology
4. Eye catching design
xperia z ultra (disadvantages)
1. 8MP camera without flash
2. battery performance
3. more expensive €720 it's really too much..

Mittal, 27 Jun 2013What about heating problem which is badly happening to Xper... moresee mittal they already overemphasized its waterproof. So everytime it gets too hot to handle you can just pour some water over it ( xperia Z IP57 ) or you can also just keep a bowl of water handy. Besides Z ultra is IP58 so you can keep it immersed longer. They even say you can youself be underwater and still shoots !! So they have the required provisions for cooling things down for you !! You know these snack dragon processors and their much kneaded (needed) advertisement with butter and all !!

AnonD-90736, 27 Jun 2013I can understand the issue with the battery, but isn't this... moreI have been using the Galaxy Note II for 6 months, and I connect bluetooth stereo earpieces and a Sony Ericsson LiveView watch all the time. I do all my torrent downloading with it (average of 30GB worth monthly), Internet radio and also wifi tether my Note 8 occasionally now. I get some 12 hours before I change to a fresh battery late afternoon. I usually use some 4 to 5 hours plus of actual screen time per charge. 16 to 18 hours overall longevity if I'm not using it so much for the day.
If Sony can match that kind of battery efficiency with their devices, I'm jumping back after a long 5 years of not buying any of their products.
