I have mw600 also but on... moreI've not tried the Z1 personally. But from the previous discussion posts here, only some people will get the low hearing earpiece volume device.
If you're buying a warranty set, you'll be able to repair it for free. (if you get a device with this problem)
But if you get a perfectly functional device, then great for you. Which some ZL users posted that the hearing earpiece volume is crisp and clear.

Bullseye, 27 Nov 2013B please. The ZL is way better in all aspects. Just get the ZLZL is a power guzzler. I don't want to be charging my phone twice a day. Also, Carl Zeiss / Pure View camera is touted to be best for photography.
Please comment on the two aspects vis-a-vis ZL.

I have mw600 also but only use it for listening to music or other stuffs but not using for calls.
Is the low ear piece volume problem found in all ZL handsets?
I had b4 acro s with low ear piece volume and had to sell it after 2 weeks. I don't want to go on this again.
Has any one tried both ZL and Z1 ear piece volume. Are they identical in that aspect

I have finally decided to buy either the
Lumia 925 or
Xperia ZL.
The determining factor would be the camera.
Please compare the cameras of both, especially for still and night photography.

AnonD-44008, 26 Nov 2013I also checked Z1 today but its ear piece volume is low at ... moreSometimes low ear piece volume problem is there but 90% of the time i use my phone with Sony MW600 (BT Handsfree), but loudness of speaker is good, I keep xloud on and never found any problem with loudness, even in traffic I can hear my ZL ringing good enough.
Low ear piece volume problem can be solved I guess..with the help of service center.

redX, 26 Nov 2013I went to see Z1 today, and was comparing my ZL with Z1, an... moreI also checked Z1 today but its ear piece volume is low at its max volume and sound loudness of speaker is low. This is why i cannot go for z1. Interested in ZL as it is the only non water proof phone.
Did any one suffer from low ear piece volume or low loudness of speaker.?

I went to see Z1 today, and was comparing my ZL with Z1, and man....Z1 is definitely a powerhouse..speed, camera...but its really hard to leave ZL for me, compactness and IR blaster are two things which are not in Z1, well...but as always..after sometime I will move to Z1.

I heard that there are two cons in this phone...earpiece and after upgrade battery drain..is it a common in all phones?? No upgrade has solved these issues till now??
