Am I the only one or was 4.1.2 update's black theme more attractive and clear and battery saver as well compared to 4.3's white? Because I really hate this white theme in 4.3..hope they make it black again in their next update. And is there any way we could report or tell Sony about it to make their update better? Plz post link if any..Thanks!

Sony xperia zr still not got kitkat 4.4 according to official page.Follow the link official website does not show it update to kitkat.waiting for ir from.lonf time.Anyone has idea when it will come?.

nanocoat the headphone jack instead of giving it a flap cover and change the screen to IPS, and it would be perfect

1) android 4.1, Google 'doomslord rooting kit for Xperia zr in Android 4.1'
2) android 4.2, Google 'vroot for Xperia zr in Android 4.2'
3) 4.3, you have to either downgrade and root it or unlock bootloader and root it.
I consider downgrading because unlocking bootloader, there are a lots of disadvantages.

cmeze, 21 May 2014Guys any opinions on Cyanogenmod for Xperia ZR?I like the stock rom better. With very few bloatware and negligible difference in performance considering android 4.3(best Sony rom) and cm10.2. Stock rom has so many features like Bravia engine, track id, gracenote, sexy media players, camera addons and the overall Sony ui.
