Performance - Excellent
Video playback - Excellent
Heavy Games - Very Good
Battery Life - Very Good
Everything about this phone is as good as it gets. One hell of a phone at a very reasonable price. Only downside I can see is the Camera, which isn't bad but isn't special either. Have been using it for a month now and so far I am just very happy.

I bought a zr two weeks back . I upgraded to jellybean 4.3. But the battery is too poor.it dies within 4 to 5 hours. My net will be on but I don't use the phone much :-( is it a problem with d battery or is it the same with everyone

Nexus doesn't give you additional memory like ZR. Well people have different preferences.
Nexus is big to hold comfortable unlike ZR.
Regarding benchmark ZR is better than Nexus in quite a few parameters. I know you have made a choice and a bad one so influencing other to take a same plunge..... lol

If you like Nexus, please don't influence people to buy a Nexus device like you do. Nexus although lower price and may got the latest Android version update, it does not mean Nexus family are good products the firt-to-update thingy is not forever. Do you know that the update for first-generation Nexus device has been stop due to nonsense 18 months support by Google? Other Nexus line also will follow their legacy soon.

Eventually if you don't care that much about updates then ZR is the one

I was super excited about my Xperia ZR, until it died within a month of purchase. The phone suddenly stopped detecting Sim and wifi. Sony helpline asked me to repair software online, which didn't help. The service centre couldn't fix it, and my set will be replaced now. I wonder hoe long the new set will last. Paying 25K for a phone that dies in a month with minimal usage is not what I wanted, ever.

I updated my beast to android version one month back.Recently i got two more notifications from sony for updating the softawre and album(10.4.1.B.0101 N Album 5.4.A.0.20).I have been trying to update this.But its not updating even though my phone is having enough memory...Please suggest
