i upgraded to 4.2.2 last week.
now my phone seems to run out of juice faster than before. is this normal? if it's a problem, what is the solution?

I have been using this phone for 2 months now & i would say its a fantastic phone.We can say its Best of Sony, both in terms of performance as well as value for money.
1)Build quality is good,you get a premium feel when you hold the device in your hand.
2)Performance wise its just too good ,no lags as i have played quite a few High end games and it performs to the expectation.
3)Call Volume is also good,Music sound played on handsfree is also not that bad.
4)User interface is awsome and userfriendly.
Camera quality is also good but depends on what settings you do.However images in the dark are not that good and front camera is one major drawback for this phone as it is just 1 MP.
5)This is for all those people saying this phone is not water proof- I have used the phone under water ,used it under the shower and have faced no problem,the phone works very well before and after usiage under water.Only thing is you will find some water drops on the back side when you open the panel ,but that is fine it does not hamper the performance .
6)Internal Memory of 8 GB (4.5 for user) is ok ,but it is sufficient .
7)Sony service is very good,I had problem of Wifi & bluetooth and they got the device replaced.
In all just a marvellous phone from Sony

After unboxing my s... moreTake it to your nearest Sony Service Center,they might give you a new handset as replacement.I had the same problem with WIFI and Bluetooth and Sony gave me a new device as replacement.Now its working fine.Its a known problem by Sony I guess so they are replacing the device of all customers who are facing the problem.

I purchased my xperia Zr in last month. After unboxing my set i checked all applications like wi-fi, Bluetooth,camera etc all are worked fine . Last 10 days back i upgraded my os 4.1 to 4.2.2. After up gradation battery back up improved and all applications working performance improved but i got problem with my Bluetooth now Bluetooth not working . So please suggest me what to do ?????

I purchased this phone on 6.10.13.i loved this mobile so much.before i used xperia sp.that also the bst device.i want waterproof.so i chnaged to XperiaZR.it's wonderfull for me.it's battery backup is supeb.
you are able to watch 3or4 movies continuously using MOVIES app.
the music clarity is superb.
it's waterproof is awesome.

I had used ZR for 5 yrs now, and its still working..with its 10GB RAM and dual Quad core 3.5 CPU, this is the best phone ever!

I just got it yesterday love it so much but only two points disappointed me :
1-bad front camera (not accepted because several cheaper choices for mid range devices provides higher quality ex.Samsung gs4 mini)
2-a little bit quieter sound than expected from Sony especially with walkman player (accepted in general)
