I just purchased this phone and the sales person LIED. I specifically asked if this phone was tap capable(gpay) and once I got home to set it up, tap(gpay) is not supported. Other than that I haven't had the phone long enough to speak on other features.

I got this phone for my dad during the free upgrade to a 5G device that T-Mobile provided us to get us moving from Sprint to T-Mobile. I chose this phone for him vs the REVVL 5G V+ AND the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G because it is better in every way than that those. It has double the storage (128 GB) and better cameras. That's all my dad needs. System updates not happening anymore doesn't matter to him at all.

This cannot be a great phone this cannot be a good phone. This phone has to be one of the worse phones ever to grace the smartphone world

Worst cellphone ever, and I've owned dozens of different makes and models of cellphones. Constantly lags, touchscreen requires 2 to 4 touches to activate whatever you're trying to touch, you can't take the google search bar off of the home screen, there is no file manager, no music player, anyone else's alarms snooze after either one minute or five minutes and these don't snooze at all, there are just so many reasons to get any other phone but this one. My provider now offers the REVVL 6 but it's going to be a "No" from me. I've never owned a T-Mobile phone before so I will probably not try another T-Mobile phone based on my experience with this REVVL 5G.

After reading some of these reviews, I know now its not just me. This is just a terrible terrible phone. My advice TMobile take these phones of the market, an go back to the drawing board an try again. Because if this is extent an direction your phones are headed, stop now before you lose a great deal of your clients.

This is literally by far the worst phone in every sense of the word. Dropped calls, terrible features, you name it. Actually operates at times without even being touched. Pretty slow in general compared to others. Shouldnt be considered a smart phone at all. Very unimpressed and extremely disappointed. Do not buy or even give consideration. The only positive thing I can say is l had my old phone, (Which was better tbh) for so long l was able to get this one for next to nothing. I would be much more disappointed had I payed full price.

I literally had someone say, 'call me back in 5," and when I returned within 5 min the contact and texts were gone. The phone will light up near your chin and suddenly you're on mute, speaker or RT. Customer service's solution is to refer me to Sales ...Goodby TMobile and thank you.

Dropped calls, calls and texts ... moreDropped calls, one way audio, self deleted contacts, have to restart it every other day to hear callers or them to hear me. Totally unreliable when it comes to the main reason to have a phone! Surfing the internet or using apps is fine though, lol. This is my second T790W device as a replacement for the first one, and it has the same problems. When I contacted T-Mobile they say I can get a free Samsung if I add another line. I don't need another line, just a reliable phone, but this one has $10 exchange value! I'm buying a Samsung or LG now

Boss went to pick out not me... long story short. we don't want our work information on the cloud.. just saved to the device for download... no bueno! These phones are useless for our line of work. Too late to take back. I personally would not use as a personal phone either. Google photos has deleted my photos one too many times... have had a google account since 2005 or 06.. i only have pictures from 2014 and up... not even archived.

anonymous, 19 Mar 2022Battery update. Battery is pretty good when the phone is id... moreDefinitely agree. If you like streaming, games, or even just spend a lot of time on FB, this phone is not for you. I recommend keeping background apps to a bare minimum.
I use mine strictly for calls, texting, and work related apps. Works just fine and the charge lasts me through the night.
This REVVL 5G is definitely not a heavy usage phone.

The only time I had dropped calls was with Sprint. Long before T-mobile bought them out. I have never had that issue with the same phone under T-mobile.

I have no complaints operational wise. It has been a great phone, after turning off/diabling all the unnecessary battery draining "assistants". However, out of the blue, it completely died after only about 7-8 months. Black screen, no charge indicator when plugged in, zero response. Took it to the Metro store for warranty replacement. I have the same exact phone again after a week, I.E. 3-5 "Business days". Maybe, I am just got that one lemon in the bunch. We'll see how long this one lasts.
