Follow these steps for all contacts. 1. Go to settings. 2.Scrool down to "Sounds". 3. Scroll down to "Phone ringtone". 4. Scroll down to "Add ringtone" 5.Select Ringtone from phone's/program's file viewer.
For customizing individual contact ringtones, follow these steps. 1.Go to contacts. 2.Click on a contact. 3. Press the button that's three dots in a line, in the upper right corner. 4. Press "Set Ringtone". 5.Pick a ringtone that's in the list or scroll down to "Add ringtone" and select Ringtone from phone's/program's file viewer.
Oh, as a side not, I don't think you can customize individual contact text sounds.

This device will not allow you to set a custom ringtone as my previous phones had ( Galaxy,Lg).
Songs that are imported from my file did not play once they show in the list of available songs after importing. I was told that the workaround required downloading a third party app which is in my opinion insane

too many steps to attach photos for text messages ; phone should of had a photo icon on message screen

There's a magnifier in the text box that i can't turn off, and it interferes with the functionality of boxes in which we enter text. The "view simplified page" option takes dozens of swipes to get rid of. One would think they do product testing on these things, but they don't.

The phone company that gave me a free revvl5 was metro. This phone doesn't even connect to the service I have to literally run on wifi. Plus it sends blurred pics and receives blurry pics. Mind you this is the second phone that does the same thing. I filed an FCC complaint just waiting while still paying for services not rendered. OUCH!

Had to add apps manually because bringing over through Google kept crashing the phone wouldn't save recent calls. Crazy as clearly this is a Google based phone.

They should be reported to the government for selling this phone. I have had dropped calls and also loss of the call when on and continually have to press back arrow at bottom several times to try to get party back. I am on the 3rd phone in Less than a month
It dropped calls to calls to cancer Drs AND hospitals

I don't understand why people are complaining about the weight. So, what if it's not the lightest or thinnest. It' not really heavy, but I'm a person that is used to using a chunky dumb flip phone. I'll admit that for some it might be an issue. This phone doe have a few quirks, but they are minor, or at least to me, and they don't seem to cause problems for me.

My REVVL V+ 5G phone keeps dropping calls, even while using the speaker. It appears that 5G networks suck more than 4G.

GOOD > CPU and GPU are pretty awesome
BAD > Gimped by low memory
GOOD> Android Phone
Bad> Never will see anything past Android 10
Good> You probably got it cheap/"free"
Bad> even at "free" with the 2 year contract this armweight of a phone will cost you WAY more than it is worth
Good> Wrist and hand exercise because of heft, dimensions and OMG the weight
Bad> Carpal Tunnel and Ergonomic nightmare. Seriously, Satan couldn't have designed this monster to be anymore deceptively beautiful. It's pretty, it's shiny and has a cool paintjob. It's sleek and looks svelt. Then you pick it up. This thing is so heavy that you need to be worried about it pulling in space debris and creating it's own moons from pocket lint. #$$!@. This thing is a beast compared to... idk... EVERY OTHER PHONE IN IT'S SIZE RANGE. It gives my 7th gen ipad a run for it's money.
The best thing I can say about it is the battery lasts even under heavy use.
You'll never be able to root this thing so don't even try. Even if it can be done, there aren't enough F*ks given in all the dev world to make it happen. Just give it up.

I won't complain much, mostly because this phone was a free upgrade and as free upgrades go, it's a nice one. I personally don't think the phone is anything spectacular or exceptional (but then again I didn't expect it to be since the free ones usually aren't). However it is a good phone overall. Good battery life, nice display and I don't experience lag. I am experiencing connection issues but I am not sure if it's the switch over to 5g that's doing it and not the phone. I switched my settings to 4g and it doesn't seem as bad. I have had text messages come in out of order without notification that I even got them. I have had my phone act up so that I can't hear the caller only to have it resolve itself a week later. I do have times where I have to reboot an app or the phone to get out of a screen freeze, but that's not too often. I miss the double tap screen my last phone had but that's my personal preference. There's also no calibration for your screen and I noticed mine sometimes goes out of whack, usually necessitating another reboot.
I'm sure there are other little buggy things I'm forgetting, but none of them are major. For a few phone, I am satisfied.

They are different phones with different specs and probably different manufactures for T-Mobile. T-Mobile should not have given them such similar names because it's causing some confusion. I usually don't like wasting my time to rate things, but this has to be done. This phone sucks in every way possible imaginable. I got it for free per a promotion, and still feel violated. If I could just get my hands on whoever designed this phone, it would not go well. Please please, do not buy this phone there's too many quirks to mention!

My phone has worked flawlessly.
-Great battery life
-Cameras are decently good, but not the best. Wide angle and macro have less MP than the normal lense
-Has enough CPU and RAM that I never experience any throttling or lag.
-Screen is good, nothing special.
-No wireless charging, bummer
-Durable
-Has memory expansion, always a plus
-Headphone jack!
-Gyro sensor and fingerprint sensor will occasionally be iffy, but the majority of the time work fine.
Other reviews mention it is hard to set up and it has "ads".
It's literally an Android phone, so it sets up like any other Android device (pretty straightforward). And I'm not sure what the other person meant by ads; there are no advertisements built into the UI. I can only guess these people are simply blaming the device for their own shortcomings.

The REVVL V+ 5G is the worst cell phone I've ever had. It's not user friendly. It offers very little customization choices, it's ENORMOUS. The only reason I got it was due to the Sprint TMobile merger. I plan to purchase an unlocked Samsung and head to a different provider. T Mobile is the worst as well. I've had voicemails pop up that were left four days ago. Ruined my chance at a job interview. T Mobile voicemail is useless. They couldn't have just left Sprint alone. Another unhappy customer taking away your business. HATE this phone.

Hate this phone. Too hard to set up. Too many ads. Messages won't send. Hate annoying start up tone.
