Thx for this info. I was wondering if TCL would support their phones. Not so much. Motorola is poor about this too. Samsung and Google have the strongest policies for Android.

One thing to note is that TCL states that the device will only get security updates until December 2023. This means that after that point it will become unusable, as it will no longer be protected from new threats and vulnerabilities.

TCL 5G was a midrange phone with good specs. This one is a low end device so its performance even photos will mostlikely be less performant than the TCL 5G you lost!
