Teardown shows the Honor 6X' internals, in a controlled fashion this time
The popular midrange Huawei Honor 6X was subjected to a torture test yesterday, and it's fair to say that it failed - a scratch-prone display is one thing, but the fact that the handset pretty much snapped in two when bent by hand raises some valid durability concerns.
If you want to be able to keep using your Honor 6X after finding out what's inside, this here teardown will help you with that task. A set of guitar picks and a couple of screwdrivers will go a long way towards achieving that goal.
The teardown reveals the step by step procedure for disassembly and names key components. Those include the Kirin 655 chipset, Hi6555 power management chip, Hi1102 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip, Hi6362 RF receiver - all HiSilicon banded. There's also an SKhynix 4GB RAM chip and a SKY77648 Multiband Power Amplifier.
As for imaging the Honor 6X relies on an 8MP Sony IMX219 camera on the front, while the dual camera setup on the back is a 12MP Sony IMX386 and a 2MP OmniVision OV2680 duo.

Ace 2 the last good mid-range = agree with you Bro. As former S5, this phone excellent but S7 is something special too, I plan to skip S8 and stay with S7 or change to another brand. Now I skip iPhone 7 now and probably S8 too. Feeling sad ...

That's why I call Ace 2 the last good mid-range and S5 the last good flagship of Samsung. Now I'am curious what will S8 bring against LG G6/Nokia/Sony new flagships.

Wow 4 years not changing battery? My Galaxy Nexus battery haven't changed for 5 years and the battery make my phone doing crazy.
