Anonymous, 09 Oct 2023How about battery drain issue? that hasn't been fixed the phone still drains at the same rate. Tecno's software is really bad at dynamically choosing background apps and Tecno's skin of android already uses to much power.

It's a feature for stopping and limiting charging when playing while plugged in. I don't think an update will increase battery charging speed anytime soon. I'll time the battery and get back to you👍

Tecno have released new updates and I just wanted to review them. Here are my thoughts.
The gallery: The gallery now loads pictures faster and is smoother and doesn't stutter as much.
It also now separates media better.
With new slow mo and panorama categories.
They did mention better floating window experience but I rarely used gallery in floating window. So can't say problem fixed overall it's a good update to the gallery.
Dynamic port:I get every company is trying to make their version of the dynamic island but they should really add more features to it in future if they going to add it the phone the animations look clean and fun but I hope this doesn't become another forgotten feature.
Bypass charging:
Tecno didn't mention this in the preview which is odd because it is a help feature. But I wonder if it's just using software to stop the battery charging and limiting power to the battery or if it was hardware in the phone the whole time that they forgot about. Either way it will be helpful to me when I play genshin so no complaints so far.
That's all. Did miss something? Let me know I'll check it out if you want a second opinion. If I ran into any issues with the new features. I'll be sure to come here and complain😅🫡

I don't have issues with mine. Tecno Camon Pro 5G is an excellent device overall.

Got this phone yesterday with a huge discount from Tecno. True value for money! Chipset, camera, memory card, 3.5 head jack, amoled screen, aod, 8+8GB Ram, 256GB storage.. What more can you ask for? Online reviews about gaming overheating is not true at all! I just wish it could support at least two major OS updates, which I highly doubt will happen. But it's a good phone overall compared with realme and xiaomi's pricing VS the chipset you'll get? This phone is a sure win!
