Aluma211, 30 Oct 2023How is the battery life of this phone can it last for two d... moreIt's good I'm using it for 8 Weeks so far, The charging is fast maybe like 1 or 2 hours it's already full.. the battery is good but when you are playing Genshin impact like me it's draining a bit faster, But when you buy this phone and use it for the first time it's drain the battery really fast But after like 5 or 6 weeks the battery doesn't drain really fast anymore
Well if you want A better Phone it's Poco X5 pro For me

I prefer this over the Premier. They have the same chipset, amoled screen with AOD and onscreen finger print scanner. BUT, this one has a memory card extension plus 3.5mm head jack for wired earphones. It's a great phone overall!

But it is a nice feature to have and you have the choice to use it or not.

Accu battery uses the capacity given for the battery religiously.
But phone batteries don't use all of their 5000mah many reserve some of the battery so when your phone dies it doesn't damage the battery.
So probably the phones actual usable capacity is 4800 or so more or less

If I may ask when using accu battery what was your battery health when newly bought, because mine was 92% for some reason. Does it mean the battery is only about 92% as good as a 5000mah battery maybe that explains why phones have different endurance rating despite having the same battery capacity.

NB: I'm not saying this will quarntee you better battery life. You can try my settings and experiment to make your battery better.
I used Accu battery to track my battery.
1. Set your refresh rate to auto. This will keep your UI smooth but your apps won't feel as fluid this is optional but I think it's a nice middle point when using phone.
2. Turn on adaptive battery and turn battery optimization for all your apps. If theres a special app you want to keep running fine but doing it to all your apps will help.
3. Use battery saver and not power boost. Tecno really lacks in-depth tester because power boost doesn't do much as power saver and barely saves you any power. In the battery settings there's an actual better battery saver that turns your battery icon yellow it actually slows the phone down to save power.
4. Setup your screen off sleep for all the apps you don't need notifications or running the background.
5. Play your games at 60hz. Yeah i know you want to moan but most high end games won't play a consistent 60 fps and even if they do you will rarely have a need for 120hz unless you are ultra competitive.
6. Delete all bloat. Tecno stuffed some bloatware in the phone go and disable or delete them since these seems to always run in the background
