The Top 10 trending phones of week 30
It wasn't exactly a turbulent week this past one, dominated by leaks on the Motorola Moto G (3rd gen) and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. An event that took place last week, however, has created a shockwave we're only witnessing now.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 and J5, which were released in India on July 16, have proven to be quite hotly anticipated, judging by their storming entry into our Top 10 trending chart. The larger of the pair, the 5.5-inch Galaxy J7 even made a run for third, but seasoned contestant Lenovo K3 Note held its spot on the podium. The more modest Galaxy J5 made it to sixth, with the company's reigning flagship Galaxy S6 sandwiched between the two.
The top remains undisturbed this week, with the Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 enjoying a comfortable lead over the Galaxy Grand Prime.
Down the ranks we have the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML, a regular in the chart, and rightfully so. The Galaxy A5 is in eighth, followed closely by the Apple iPhone 6, while the last one to make it to the chart is another Samsung handset, the Galaxy E7 affordable 5.5-inch phablet.
