Verizon Galaxy Note 4 starts getting Marshmallow update

Himanshu, 02 June, 2016

Shortly after rolling out the Marshmallow update to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, Verizon has now started pushing out the update to Galaxy Note 4 units on its network. It bumps the software version to N910VVRU2CPD1.

The update brings Android 6.0.1, meaning all the usual Marshmallow goodies are included. In addition, it also beings along other features/improvements such as Wi-Fi calling, update to app icons, Ultra High Quality Audio and Android for Work. Head to the Source link below for more information on the update.

As is usually the case with OTA roll-outs, it might take some time for the update to hit your device. Meanwhile, if you feel impatient, you can manually check for the update by heading to your handset's Settings menu.

Me too. Worse... significant lag in touch screen responsiveness, lag in apps opening and links launching. I am thinking I need to remove all my data and do a factory reset!
