All I hear here is someone saying it costs too much and then another saying it is for fashion accessory for rich people but I think that everybody is missing the point entirely. No matter how much this phone costs or however many feature are or arn't added the phone looks like garbage. Even if I was Roman Abramovich I would not this aesthetic monstrosity.

i spent hell lot of money to buy this phone and now i do not even have a desent camera
this phone is yuk...
even nokia 1100 beats this phone in features

Gee i wouldn't spend that much on a phone. i rather buy a house phone than that. or give monies to make housing for people who are walkin out on the streets, or charity. Gee thats too much for a cell phone.Only Paris Hilton will get that kind of phone....

Well, I see a lot of people who just don't get it. Like my fellow country-man (Romania) who says he could buy a brand new car for EUR6,000. It is true, but then again, this phone is meant for people who have a car. And what a car! It is for people who don't take videos nor pictures with their phones, there's always someone with professional equipment to do that for them. They don't operate any PDA functions because it's useless. They don't use bluetooth because they don't need to. They wanna talk in style, a style that equals their money. They majority of the critics never had a substantial amount of money; they probably think 'if i'll get EUR100,000 i'll buy myself a BMW M6.' Listen to me: it's not that simple: you gotta have ALOT of money to spen a EUR100,000 on a car. You gotta have even more to buy a EUR40,000 phone.

whew, what a phone... made from expensive materials alright... diamonds and other fancy gems... it`s price is really too high..
the price could buy a new house and a lot here in the Philippines... does vertu guarantees that this phone would be like a jewel? and never depreciate it`s price? i really wonder.. but, vertu said, the phone will last for a lifetime... and they can repair the phone with 1st class materials.. hMm.. if it would be like a jewel or a watch... rich people would get one.. but for me, i guess i don`t wanna get one.. i could spend my money to other things that could make me happy at a little cost...

i rather buy a latest phone with all the latest technology and send it to a specialist and customize it to my heart content. wouldnt bother paying 1000s to the specialist. and we'll see which phone is more desireable! and more exclusive!

Honestly, when I first saw this phone, I told my self , who would be such a stupid person to buy this phone, but guess what, now i'm the owner of this signature phone. At the moment when i bought this phone, i felt that like i'm gonna be famous and pe4ople would stare at me. I just wanna tell people that maybe it might be a wrong idea to buy this phone but one thing that make me proud of owning this phone is that i can sense a feeling of EXCLUSIVITY as not many people in my country own this phone. Well I know what you guys thinks "its not about the features, its all about the exclusivity", but seriously, I think for this price, you could have this phone at least with the SE k750i features or similar.

I seen this phone first hand in a store in las vegas, and started to laugh. I guy came up to me and asked what i found was so funny. I pointed at the the phone, and then at its price. He stated it was made of surgical grade steel, and other "Expensive materials" platinum, and blah blah blah. I asked if it had any special features he said no they only are made to call and hold numbers, and only 1 model has bluetooth.
Then i told him they finally got it right. They made a not so smart phone for simple minded rich people who simply want to call. Then i asked him when you sell the one with bluetooth they ask you to sync it up, and not only that you see them a couple of weeks later cause they dont know how to operate it right? He laughed and said i was right on the money.I was happy about this that meant i dont gotta deal with the some ignorant rich customer who cant operate his pda phone, or phone with lots of features (i had my share of over a dozen). Ill just recommend the vertu company to these type people. PROBLEM SOLVED THANX VERTU!

it's got style which most other phones don't have, at least 99% of the models, which are no doubt made for those 99% of people who haven't got taste anyway regardless of how wealthy they are. This phone is something I would definitely get if I had it going on, without doubt. Features like mp3, camera, etc...all scapegoats for poor phone functionality and style and they don't last when you've had the phone for over a month tops :P

I just had the Signature Vertu given to me and I think its great. The have the treo so I don't need this phone to do a lot. This is more like having a Rolex. I could go out and buy the Casio for 50 bucks and have all the features, but the Rolex is luxury for 20,000 bucks. It is what it is.

Wait! Who actually buys these phones? Is it the common people on the street? NO. Is it the same persons you see in the bus on the way to work every day? NO. Is it the same guy you see at some cheap join? NO.
Then who buys these phones...
It is those who travel in 1st class on airplanes, those people who drives Ferraris or be driven in a Rolls Royces or Benleys, it is those people who cruise the Caribbean sea in a multi-million dollar yacht, it is those people who earns millions in a year where others make do with a few thousands a month.
Now this phone is cheap in this respect...

vertu only release few model of extremely high price phone... the price is extremely high's not because of the function or anything, but the materials it made from - sapphire, diamond, ruby, platinum, titanium, authentic leather, stainless steel... guess u guys never really knew y its so expensive! and uh, its made for very rich people only!

Why the F*** is this damn phone so expensive???? For 6000 EURO you don't have a camera.... not even infrared!! What the hell does this phone do??? It cleans the house?? It makes you breakfast?? This is a phone for the people who don't care about the money. But for those who do care, this damn phone AIN'T recommanded. Here in Romania, you can buy a brand new car with 6000 EURO.

if its a wooden phone you want my new pirate range of phones is set to hit the market in mid 2006. We have done away with cameras and replaced the features of the phone to mimik body parts. I suggest the peg-log mob. it comes in mahogany and pine.

a absolute splendid phone, does what you need, a phone for which you can call the butler for example; to get the limosine ready. worth every single penny, and works perfectly. i own four and each work fine and not a problem with any of them and no scratches on them after several months.
