vivo postpones launch of V19, other new products in India due to COVID-19
vivo was slated to launch the V19 in India on March 26, but last week we learned the launch was pushed to April 3. Now, vivo has announced that the launch of V19 and other new products in India has been suspended indefinitely due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country that has claimed the lives of 10 people at the time of writing this.
vivo has released a statement saying it's focusing its time and resources towards COVID-19 relief efforts in the country, and it will donate surgical and N95 masks for doctors and healthcare workers in India who are working round the clock to contain the COVID-19 spread. You can read the full statement from vivo below.
vivo isn't the only smartphone brand in India affected by COVID-19. The on-ground launch events of Realme and Redmi earlier this month were moved online, and the latter even postponed the first sale of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, which was supposed to go live at noon local time today.
Besides, Samsung has temporarily closed its smartphone factory in India and has asked its employees across different departments to work from home.
Realme closed its production lines in India on March 21 and its Narzo 10 series smartphones will be unveiled through a pre-recorded launch video, which will be streamed on March 26 at 12:30 PM local time (7 AM UTC).

That statement looks more like a BSOD. I guess Vivo has crashed. The V19 just adds to their woes.
