vivo V25e goes official with Helio G99, color-changing design, and 64MP camera
vivo announced the V25 and V25 Pro about a couple of weeks ago, and now the company has added a third member to the lineup, dubbed vivo V25e.
The vivo V25e is powered by the Helio G99 SoC, runs Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12, and comes in a single 8GB/256GB configuration. And if you want more storage, you can expand it up to 1TB via microSD card.
The V25e is built around a 6.44" FullHD+ 90Hz AMOLED screen having a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. It also has a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication and a notch for the 32MP selfie camera. Around the back, you get a 64MP primary camera with OIS, which is joined by 2MP depth and 2MP macro units.
The back panel of the vivo V25e is covered with Fluorite AG Glass, with the Sunshine Gold version flaunting a color-changing design. Its color changes from gold to orange under sunlight or an artificial UV light source to show the shades of sunrise and sunset.
The vivo V25e is 7.79mm thin, weighs 183 grams, and packs a 4,500 mAh battery charged through a USB-C port at up to 44W. The rest of the vivo V25e's highlights include NFC, IP54 rating, and Hi-Res Audio certification. It also comes with 4D Game Vibration for a more immersive gaming experience.
The vivo V25e comes in Sunrise Gold and Diamond Black colors, and it's up for pre-orders in Malaysia for RM1,399 ($310/€310) through vivo's official website. However, its availability in other markets is unknown.
