Also was unable to press the call button when making a call so switched on and off, it resolved that issue. I believe this version is a beta version since I clearly remember seeing beta written besides 2.7.9, hopefully a final much refined version will be coming soon.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2016Cannot upgrade to Android 6.0No official word on MM update. Spoke with CC. No Vivo mobile is currently MM. V3 Max is hardware-compatible and latest in Vivo family, so it will be the first to get it. Also, in my view, MM has hardly anything to miss feature wise.

today i got a new firmware update 2.7.9 latest... and i hope vivo v3max will up to 6.0 marshmellow later.... i hope that... Vivo V3Max it's faster than faster .... speed with Qulacom Snapdragon ... !!

Guys, received Funtouch update 2.7.9 directly, bypassing 2.7.7. Those who had received 2.7.7 and are complaining of music volume issues should try to install this update. Let's see if it helps.

What K5 note doesn't have are: Gorilla glass and bundled headphone. Many people complain of overheating.
Price difference is too much.

K5: no gorilla glass, I think fast charging is missing, no bundled headphone. Some people complain of heating. Price difference is huge, so comparison is not right.
