With Mi 5 I will have instant access to the almighty Snapdragon 820 chipset, 3GB RAM, far more powerful graphics to play resource intensive games, a far superior camera, NFC, IR blaster and so on...
And the icing on the cake is Mi 5 comes with the latest Android Marshmallow out of the box, while V3Max is still stuck on the archaic Android Lolipop. :)

I say good when I see good and bad when I see bad. I already said vivo has good products in cheaper price range. But this phone is overpriced IMO.

As you rightly said, it is your money... having full right to burn the cash the way you want. On the contrary we the end consumers are more concerned about the money we spent, generally opting for the best deals over smartphones, which unfortunately as of now are only available online in India.
You repeatedly remind us Vivo and Oppo are among the top 5 smartphone vendors in the world from this quarter only, so what is the benefit for us in that? Are they going to give every existing Vivo customer a 100 bucks cheque inorder to celebrate this cause? NO. This result is good for the company but has no effect on us end consumers. But it seems this news have great effect on you. I wonder why?
As an Indian I am more concerned about their scenario in my country, so in which position are Vivo and Oppo with respect to Lenovo, Xiaomi and LeEco? The answer is nowhere.

You have much better options available with this price tag, at least in India. No NFC, IR blaster are big bummers for this price.
You generally buy Vivo for audio, and in this case V3Max offers much lower quality audio than trendsetters like Lenovo Vibe X3 which are available at an even lower price!!! V3Max neither have Dolby Atmos or dual stereo speakers as of Vibe X3. Even technologies like TheaterMax is absent.
Also Vivo's never get any android version upgrades or security update patches, so you will be stuck forever with whatever android version it came out of the box. Which is pathetic to say the least for the price.
And it is not only me who is saying this, I have gone through some V3Max reviews from respectable smartphone websites and their verdict have one thing in common, price is just too high.

Using phone from last twenty days its awesome phone never hanged nice camera smooth performance good audio output feeling satisfied and amazing fingerprint sensor
