Venky, 17 May 2019When we usually get an updates, month end or month mid ?I think that vivo has scheduled our v5 plus on 20's of alternative months(we got an update on jan 20,march 20,likewise may 20),i hope this will be an oreo update.if so im one of the happiest person,if not this is my last device from vivo

1.no ui updates
2.no ota firmware updates
3.no featured updates
4.no bug fixed update,even im experiencing many bugs
5.lags while typing on default vivo keyboard
6.lags while navigation from one app to other apps
7.battery backup slowly decreasing update by update
8.camera quality need to improve a lot not even a single camera update was given upto now since 2 yrs
9.fast charging-charging speed decreases compare to new days

If they wont update vivo v5 plus, at least allow us to root our Phone. I'm really upset with this VIVO. Now its already in my blacklisted list product.

Since many days vivo has got so much time to build oreo update even though at present oreo update was not released eventually they r taking so much time to just provide security update of this month(for just giving april security update),take a look on v11 pro stable Android Pie with new funtouch os rom has already released.if vivo is willing to give update they will give,they don't took this many days by calculating and compare to other vivo phones(ex-some vivo phones in india has already got the face unlock feature(for low cost mobiles also ),they don't give oreo update(in india) to us,because they r not willing to give oreo update to us,even though they r not willing to give extra featured update.waste of buying vivo phones they just care new phones for one year only after the same what will happen to us will happen to new phones, this is first mobile from vivo finally this is my last mobile from vivo

We got an update on dec 20,on march 20,and later update has to come by on next month may 20(its already 28 of april) means they are taking 2 months of gap and just giving security patches and i completely has loose hopes on oreo update and i was willing to but realme 3 pro.what do you say guys pls comment

XLR8R, 23 Apr 2019If you forget Funtouch OS update, Vivo is still updating ph... moreU r true to some extent but when we came to reality the time gap between the updates was so so long so that the user can irritated with the performance of outdated phone with bugs,so that user may thought to buy new mobile,which means the lately coming updates was indirectly throwing into dustbin, as we come on to our v5 plus they r taking so much time to just release security patch,as u&i read in this gsmarena of v5 plus saying that they r shifting to other mobiles for which they are annoyed to late and non featured updates what is the use bro with that updates

It doesn't make any sense to develop fully working builds and then scrap it, Vivo will most likely release it sometime this year.

Guys, Vivo started rolling out Android Pie with latest FuntouchOS 9 for Vivo V11 PRO as well as new features for Vivo V15 PRO as well... Lucky are the users of the above mentioned V series.. But Vivo isn't interested in Vivo V5 Plus, I'm not gonna buy any Vivo phone maybe.
