Every small mobile brands was giving 2 major firmware updates to even small low cost mobiles for 2 yrs support and 3yrs security updates support with enhanced features.But vivo is not providing any enhanced feature firmwares,since up-to now we got only one major firmware update with no single feature increased.what did vivo doing their up-to now,no Oreo update up-to now.with this cost variant all other companies has already pushed their stable update to all their phones.waste of buying this bludy vivo stuff

Hi, Just received an update on my Vivo V5 Plus today.
NEW Version is PD1624F_EX_A_3.9.0 only 87.73Mb in size.
It's strange but I don't know why vivo jumped directly from 3.8.0 to 3.9.0.
Isn't it strange.
Is anything big on it's way I guess.
Do let me know.

I'm using Vivo V5 Plus, I want to know whether it will receive Android Oreo update along with funtouch os update or not.
Is there any possibility that Vivo still cares about it's older flagships here in India, if it does then it'll be great news because there hasn't been good visual changes in Vivo's recent updates.

V5 onwards the series seems pretty up to date on security patches. OS updates, well Vivo is giving at least one, but I think that will change now.
