      Guys,
I used x100pro for 3 months, here are my observations,

      PROS:
      1) Good camera photography, more details I ever seen, no noise like s24ultra
      2) Good low light photography
      3) Great battery life after latest update
      4) Super fast charging

      CONS:
      1) Slippery design (not ergonomics)
      2) Poor audio
      3) Funtouch OS is not at all mature, and not enjoyable (basic OS bugs annoying)
      4) Haptics are very poor and not integrated to any apps properly
      5) Camera lens switching transition is not at all good
      6) it is IP68 but, if waterdrops are on screen, touch is not working (ghost touch)
      7) Display is not good at this range
      8) Resale is very poor (almost half price)
      9) Only good at photography not in video

FYI : Sold this and got my s24ultra.

With the latest update i am getting the best battery life so far.
Morning i am charging it. Till next morning i have around 30-35% left. Prior to this update i used to get it down to 25-30% by night 9pm.
I am not facing any heating issue as well. Maybe some app is draining your battery and causing it to overheat. You should get it checked if you are unable to find the cause of your issue

Anonymous, 17 May 2024Why are all Chinese flagships having a circular camera bump Just a trend. I am sure they will make other designs in the future.

                After updates
                - it drains more battery
                - camera photo is little washed out, quality decreased
                - heats more

SOrry vivo, this is last device for me. Funtouch OS is trash

                  Guys,
Using this x100pro from more than a month.
Did anyone notice, if you take videos or photos of FIRE, it turns to be extra bright or more exposure videos? I need to manually lower down to see.
By default fire photos/videos are not good, looks like 10k phone.

Is there any settings you are using? let me know. Because those fire photos are totally useless

proUser, 02 May 2024Yea I shifted from s22 ultra. But same disappointed in belo... moreWhat you mentioned are not very necessary for all users. The main purpose of buying this phone is the CAMERA. That's it. I barely make any phone call everyday, maybe just 1 or 2 phone calls on the weekend, so speaker or mic are not my priority. "Ergonomics to hold"?? I tried X90 and X100 series and I can say that they are super easy and comfortable to hold in your hand for a long time. I sold my S22U because my hand got tired when holding it for more than 30 minutes. Tried the S23U and S24U at store and they are almost the same: boxy shape with sharp edges, so it's a big no for me. Haptics for sure it's weak, but I don't like the haptic on the samsung as well. The only thing you said was correct to me is the OS. I admit that I don't like it, and the S22U with OneUI has a way way better UI.

Just make sure you didn't debloated any qualcomm color system apks. There was one time I debloated some of them and all of the color suddenly became washed out.

But again, even if the images will come out impressive, they still can't be compared to an ILC's photos, especially in terms of raw detail

But at times you can also capture great photos with a good cameraphone, like this one.
It has processing I really like a lot (given good lighting and captured detailes, otherwise you risk getting an "oil painting" - if it doesn't capture enough details due to poor lighting or other issues).

And, contrary to my actual camera, its always in my pocket!

But for someone who wants to take photography seriously, then an ILC will offer far superior quality than any other smartphone camera

Plus its much more convenient and faster on a mobile to edit/crop photos and upload/transfer them.

I have a Sony A7 III and while its a great camera, on its screen its very difficult to evaluate the quality of a shot - to preselct which 1 out of maybe 10 photos is worth keeping. Worse yet, downloading/transferring photos takes ages and I hate the process.

A phone is much more convenient/faster.
