I feel x100 Pro display is not much good compare to my previous s22 ultra device.

For classifying camera the best of all, one should see what the eyes actually see. I was shifting from s23U, but sadly it did not come out to my expectation due to its camera color attenuation and low dynamic range. Though the night shots were very impressive but again low speaker and mic quality disappointed.

I played with it at a store yesterday and was completely amazed on the camera performance. Took some portrait and zoom shots & they turned out to be so crisp also the phone despite having big battery & huge lens doesn't feel that heavy. This might be my next phone soon.

x100Pro, 20 Apr 2024Using this device from month
Pros#
1. Best camera
2.... moreI have the global version and I completely agree with your statement.
The vibration is poor can hardly feel it.
Prob just us but holding the phone with one hand usage does hurt the wrist lol due to camera placement
I find unless I check for updates (like today I updated) I don't get a notification that I have one.
The pros I agree with
Camera is amazing
Battery is amazing 10 hours SOT charging every 2 day's
Was worried about funtouch OS but it's fast and fluid
It's a great device

I read that the Chinese version supports less bands than the US version tho. So the cheaper price may be reflecting the lower quality radio.

Using this device from month
Pros#
1. Best camera
2. Smooth OS (few bloatware but can be disabled)
3. Good signal
4. Good battery life
5. IP68
Cons#
1. Pathetic thermals specially in Indian weather its not usable around 40c degree. Phone by default keep under 37c temperature even room temperature is 33c. Not using games and light user. Using minimum it reaches 40c+
2. Poor haptics( vibration motor is poor)
3. No proper glass protection and curve screen make it risky without protection case.
4. Even eye protection there using it for more than hr hurts eye with eye protection ON.
5. Holding Phone is not at all ergonomic, it hurts due to design in few minutes of hold.
6. Audio speaker lacks in bass and does not feel this device support atmos. Low volume and quality
7. Funtouch OS miss updates in frequency of updates.
Its 2 months now no updates.
I really like this device but due to heating and ergonomic issue I am suffering. This year I have to be with it 😀
Moral of story#
only camera is not everything

Plus, curved glasses has more sophisticated technology and has longer procedure of making the glass curved. This shows how Vivo are so proud of their front glass supplier.

I have this phone, and the curved screen (and Android 14, which is nothing Vivo can change) is the only complaint I have.
If you use gesture navigation, the side bar, the one-handed gesture, browser navigation swiping, or keyboard swiping, you WILL have accidental activations. Some angles, like taking a landscape photo from the ground, you'll be annoyed by the top and bottom of the display being distorted from your POV.
Make the front glass flat. Not curved. Not 2.5d. FLAT. Add a five-year warranty and then you really have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find anything wrong with this phone. Lack of bass? Slight overheating in specific use cases? USB display? I mean... this thing is amazing.
Please fix the front glass!

This is the best smartphone camera yet in Q1 2024 that I wanted to buy, but it seems to be expensive than others. But overall it's a great camera setup for a smartphone.

In my eyes, Vivo X100 Pro Global meets a lot of these basic criteria. Very good battery life, good thermals, very stable, decent UI (worse then Pixel, but smooth and good enough IMO).
No connection issues, good sound quality.
Only disadvantage is curved screen, but I can live with that.

To me i never play games, not using tiktok, facebook, insta and Netflix, hardly use my camera for document scans when needed. Fast charging i never used and recommend. To me a stable performance including battery life and a decent software UI are more important. Rest it is upto people how they select a phone based on their priorities.

Once you leave your experience with a phone here you should be sure it's unbiased and truth as many people refer to here to make their decision or at least get an impression.
As my first Chinese phone (Chinese version), I'm so surprised to note how good it is.
Bad battery life? Not at all! It really has a great battery life. Full day on 4G and GPS/BT on and lots of photography and social media (not gaming), it easily lasts a full day with around 30% left.
Heating? Never happened anytime.
Poor camera? Absolutely not! Not a superior camera but it's really very good. Specially at nights.
Slow CPU? Not at all. Very fast and snappy with very powerful engine to render any videos as fast as Apple A17 does!
Bad display? Nope! What's wrong with current display? It's more than enough. Who needs that super high brightness while a more important factor like PWM in this phone is superior to many others?

Dim light, low light, room light... that's where the challenge starts.

Vivo can SOMETIMES achieve people's photos similar to a full frame camera with prime lens.

Literally there is minimal difference in camera performance atleast in daylight photography. Poor battery performance, heating, and ordinary display quality were deal breaker. I started loving my s23U when i have a hands-on on vivo. Even the vivo v30 display is better than x100pro. And DXOMARK ranked vivo x100 pro as top 10th, and s23u as 25th. lol.
