That being said, if people get used of their ecosystem it won't be easy for them to pull themselves out of it.
It's like when many people are used of using Windoze spymachine and having difficult time moving to Linux, because it just dont work the same (no matter how much the developers try).

Take the case of the X100 Pro and X100 Ultra where the X100 Ultra only gained an advantage in the telephoto department. I don;t anyone even mentioned that the X100 Ultra is night and day better than the X100 Pro. Let us not get ahead of ourselves unless the actual unit is in for review. Even then only pixel peepers will be able to appreciate any gains with the X200 Ultra.

Highly likely that the difference will only be visible to pixel peepers but not to 99% of ordinary users. It has been proven time and again even with midrange devices that using the same sensor hardly makes a difference regardless of phone brand or SoC used as computational limitations kick in.

They're likely to be rumors and I would rather believe that the X200 Ultra's camera hardware will be the same as the X200 Pro's. The telephoto shooter is already the best in the business so why change it? Unless there is a new, game-changing tech for the telephoto then I don't think Vivo will spend so much resources just to make the cost still lower than its competitors which makes a ton of sense.

And my Vivo X100 Ultra in Pro mode has 10X zoom and it is 50MP and it uses 0 AI Image processing and 0 post processing.
It just instantly takes the photo and that's it.
If Vivo X200 Ultra has better 10X, that means it will look even better in pro mode.
I use the 3.7X, 5X and 10X zooms for moon photos a lot.
No AI needed.

Does it matter? MP count is irrelevant unless it is optical and not digital. You can put in a 400MP on 400mm focal length and the quality will still be terrible. That's why all mobile phone manufacturers are resorting to AI for processing to make shots as close to optical quality as possible.
