vivo X23 specs appear on a leaked presentation slide

Vlad, 30 August 2018

The vivo X23 is launching on September 6 and it looks like it plans to leak every single day until that point. This time around, we get a shot of what is said to be a presentation slide listing the phone's specs. Given that the source has already removed the image, and the close proximity of the announcement itself, this may be legit despite containing one glaring typo.

That's further solidified by the fact that these specs come to reconfirm what has already been outed about the X23.

So, the device should have a 6.41" 1080x2340 Super AMOLED touchscreen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 91.2% screen-to-body ratio, and the Snapdragon 670 chipset at the helm. 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage are in, as well as support for 4G+ networks unsurprisingly, and a 32-bit DAC: the AK4377A from AKM.

The vivo X23 has a 12 MP selfie snapper, and a 12 MP + 13 MP dual rear camera setup, with the main sensor being Sony's IMX363 (as seen on the Xiaomi Mi 8, Pocophone F1, Mi Mix 2S, and vivo's own NEX S).

Keeping the lights on is a job for the 3,400 mAh battery which fast charges through a 22.5W cable and power brick. The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo underneath vivo's Funtouch OS 4.5. Although not mentioned here, a fourth-generation under-display fingerprint sensor has already been confirmed for the X23 by its maker.

Fourth generation? It first launched this year, how can it be fourth?

Yeah, it's like spam at this point. On the bright side, these specs are very promising and the company shows signs of getting better

dont get a point of releasing the same spec phones every month and almost all the phone are real B**it. Except for Nex S, other phones are very identical. Adding to the confusion are the phones released by oppo, with same design and same spec.
