Vivo made its X5Pro smartphone official in China in May, but today the same device got introduced to the Indian market.

The X5Pro can already be pre-booked from India using Vivo's official website for the subcontinent. If you do that before July 31, you have a chance to win an X5Pro or some other gifts.

The phone will become available throughout India on August 15. It's going to be priced at INR 27,980, which means about $439 or €403 at the current exchange rates.

In terms of specs this is the same Vivo X5Pro that we already know. It boasts a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and LED flash, an 8 MP selfie snapper, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, dual-SIM functionality, 4G LTE, and a 2,450 mAh battery.

It's powered by Qualcomm's 64-bit Snapdragon 615 SoC coming with an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Adreno 405 GPU. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, with Vivo's Funtouch OS 2.1 on top.
