Vivo x70 pro is all time rubbish phoe.. regretting the purchase. Camera issue, touch sample is worst, sound quality is nothing but rubbish. Waisted money on this phone.

The worst interface used in a phone. Tiny jerk-type little icons with no size change options. No theme store which leads you got bored in few days plus you have to dig to find options for your phone. Apart from that, the Google dialer and message make my user experience extremely bad. In-camera segment, the human face has got issues several times. Sold it already and buy Samsung which finally makes me happy.

Software bugs such as no sound while locking ... moreMe too wanted to sell the product because of the issues u have mentioned , but after complaining to vivo customer care as guided by a fellow gsmarena user , an update was pushed by Vivo and all the issues have been resolved.

Enraiha, 19 Nov 2021Hi, what made you sold the phone if i may ask?Few reasons.. Software bugs such as no sound while locking and unlocking the phone, taking a picture.. Potrait mode issues such as improper depth sensing, uneven background blur in potrait shots, face whitening in artificial lighting conditions, poor video recording quality, mediocre periscope quality.. Poor quality of selfie camera. Heating while gaming for 20 minutes or longer. The software wasn't optimized properly, that's why I sold it.

After latest update camera quality is slightly better. The shutter sounds and lock screen sounds are back. Zeiss processing bug is somewhat fixed.
The only thing which needs to be better is the periscope which is very mediocre. I hope vivo pushes an update to improve persicope quality. Even the videos taken in 5x is not good as it is very shaky l

hi i just bought Vivo X70 Pro the back side camera is good and superb but the front camera is suck dont know why? Planning to visit the shop i purchase.And while taking video or photos(around 30 snap) Phone temperature is getting high. Any one facing this problem please share

EIS in my old phone was way better compared to gimbal. Check the video in ultra stable mode and pan around. You will come to know how choppy the video is when you play the recorded video.
Also, check zoom in video in normal mode and 5x. 5X zoom mode is so choppy,
I hope vivo pushes update for video as it's not good. The latest update has fixed a lot of camera bugs but video bugs are still there.

But if I may ask, between the gimbal in vivo and EIS found in other phones, which is better? Also, I forgot to ask from gaming perspective. does it perform well for games like PUBG or Call of Duty mobile? Any uncomfortable heating for example.

Is the video stabilization that b... moreStabilization is good in normal mode. But stabilzation in gimbal mode is just average. Don't believe youtubers. They just slowly pan and show but they don't turn the camera fast and show the stabilization. The videos are completely jerky. Videos in zoom mode (periscope) is extremely shaky and pathetic.
I got a new update recently and still photo problems are resolved but video problems are still there.
Go to a store and check the phone and decide. Only buy the phone if you only require still photos and do not care about video.

So as an Android users, I'll be going back to Samsung mostly because of better user experience.

I bought Mi 10, next year totally regretted with 2k Display and 888 upgrade. Next thing I know, people would rather get the previous year. Although Mi 11 is ugly, everything else seems solid.
Same thing with this. People kept on saying this model is like the best, supreme camera, better than iPhone 13 Pro Max. I highly doubt Vivo could compete against flagships.
Next thing I know, it comes with issues.
Now I think it's safe to say, something's are too good to be true.

It takes superb photos but at the same time it has issues with processing human skin. Portrait mode works well but sometimes it gets stuck in zeiss processing when checking the photo. The custom sony sensor needs a lot of work to improve clarity.
Night mode is excellent. One of the best.
Zoom performance is good. Periscope clarity is as expected and could be better.
Video: Good in normal mode. Has good quality but ultra stable mode is bad, video is too choppy. The zoom mode in video is good only in 2x but absolutely unusable in 5x mode as video is too shaky even though the lens has OIS. My old realme x50 pro's stable mode is superb even without gimble.
Screen: Very good but not very bright like Super AMOLED.
Battery: Quite good.
Overall phone is good for stills but just average for video. Vivo should provide update and fix these issues ASAP
