But the camera issue is the worst..it ruined my diwali unable to click a single pic. Worst software management by VIVO.Even the service center guys were helpless.The only solution for these issues is to wait for the next update. Only god knows if it will fix these issues or will worsen the situation.

After the latest update camera n photo processing getting stuck... Huge issue didn't expect this.. Sometimes image quality is so grainy after the update.... Anyone facing this issues?

Daniel, 03 Nov 2021How's the video? I've tested the phone in the sho... moreHi bro. Today I received an update. It was mentioned to improve camera and touch response so I updated the phone. Noticed there is a Zeiss colour mode which will output nature colours in the photo mode. And it does output natural colors. Also I tried the video recording for the first time with 1080p 60fps ultra stabilisation, no issue. Played the footage multiple times, didn't notice any jerkiness. Gimbal stablization works nicely and compensate well for camera shake if using Ultra Stabilisation mode which works on 1080p 60fps. Haven't had any performance issues. After the update, touch response is improved as well. I'm using the Indian variant I don't know if the global variant runs on the same firmware as the Indian version.

I checked out the phone in the shop last week and the salesman said a new firmware upgrade would be happening to fix the video issue. How's the video quality now?
Still any problems with panning the video? Is it still choppy? Did you test it with all the other apps switched off?

I've tested the phone in the shop and the video seems choppy when you pan the camera around. It seems to be like that on all modes/resolutions. Any issues with yours or has the firmware improved on that already?

Got this phone three days ago. Here my observation.
The design is premium and back changes colour when tilting the phone left and right. It is also fingerprint resistant. The display being a curved screen OLED Panel, looks amazing. I am using the professional colour mode because in this mode it shows great colour accuracy. You do have the option to make the colours vibrant. Touch response is great. Bright enough even under direct sunlight. But the display being curved, it will require curved tempered glass. Just don't drop the phone, curved screens are fragile. It's not water or dust resistant though so be extra careful. I am careful with my phones though. I don't know if the screen has some protection. Not sure. Despite having a single speaker, I found the sound quality to be very good, quite loud too. Earpiece is invisible but sound via Earpiece is loud and crisp. No problem faced while taking calls. Haptic feedback (vibration motor) didn't feel as premium sadly but it is good. Day to day usage feels smooth, no hiccups felt. Didn't try Gaming yet but will update here if I do. The Dimensity 1200 can definitely handle resources intensive tasks very well. It is also battery efficient as per my observation. UI feels good to use but it did came with many pre installed bloats though removed all of them. Comes with Google dialer so call recording without letting the other person know is going to be tough task. No 3.5mm jack and no MicroSD slot might turn off some but many brands removing these features in premium phones. So ultimately we consumers have to accept that. The battery charges around 1 hour using the 44W Fast charger. Battery lasts for a day. Getting consistent around 7 hours SOT which is great for the 4450 mAh battery. The camera is the main selling point of this phone and must say, Vivo done some serious work in this regard. The camera quality in daylight and in low light is really good, flagship grade. The Zeiss coating really works great on light sources. Didn't try video recording so can't comment about it. I'm really impressed with its camera so far. The last good camera phone I used was the Samsung Galaxy S7, this one is definitely better. Getting amazing speeds with 4G Carrier Aggregation on this phone. So overall, I am pretty satisfied with this phone. Before buying this phone, I wasn't even considering it. It was the salesman who pushed me into buying this phone. So far so good. Only cause of concern is software updates, Vivo generally do not have a good track record in this regard but let's see how long our relationship works. If you ask me if you should get this phone, well I would say yes definitely.

I purchased this phone last week in India. Night mode camera is good. The phone is overall very good, but there are issues with the main camera. The camera clarity of main sensor is just okay just like GSMArena mentioned.
The video quality is average and after recording the video, while watching, the video lags and jerks so much even on ultra stable mode. Vivo should release an update to fix these bugs.
The portrait mode is just average in clarity.
Also, the funtouch OS has google dialer with no call record option instead of vivo dialer which had call recording. So if anyone thinks vivo still has call recording, need to be aware of this. The dark mode does not work in app drawer as it has white background even after enabling dark mode, which is so annoying.
Screen is very good and has preapplied screen guard. The headphones provided are good but the audio volume is too low. Even with full volume, the audio is bad. Vivo should have provided dolby for such a costly phone.

How come the same ultra wide 1/3.1" Samsung S5K3L6 sensor is 13 mp on x60 and 12mp on this with equal pixel size and sensor size
