This is not only the case with this phone but with every other phone out there.
OEM releasing phones every 6-10 months is the main problem. If the iteration cycle is atleast 1.5 to 2 years we will see major changes.

Most devices with Dimensity 1200 have a generally weaker camera performance than the X70 series thus it further reduces the overall costs. Not to mention that the official pricing of the X70 series is slightly cheaper than the X60 series with notable upgrades. Please note that each country has different pricing which might vary from my country due to other factors such as the sales taxes, so it might be slightly more expensive in certain regions. Just my 2 cents.
