I had a locally-branded phone (rebranded Chinese Jiayu S3) with MediaTek MT6752 1.7ghz octacore processor with 3gb ram, 16gb storage, Mali-T760 MP2 gpu, with LTE and NFC. It lasted (and is still lasting) for 3 years and still going strong and fast to this day. Decent camera quality from Sony IMX214 sensor. I just had to change battery and charger. Only Phl Peso 6,999.00 (around US$120) at that time.

iver, 02 Aug 2018how to fix if data is stuck to 3g and cant open mobile data? make sure preferred 4G was selected. Turn ON airplane mode and turn it OFF, restart the phone and check data again

J6 vs Y81 - USB Hotspot Tethering comparison
Y81, somehow not working, it finds a hard to establish the connection between the phone and the computer.
J6 works very good. The connection setup very easy and runs smoothly. I even found that other Samsung phones are good in USB Hotspot Tethering. If you use USB Hotspot Tethering quite frequently, J6 should be a better option.

Y81 vs J6 - Camera
J6 camera seems to be working better. almost zero delay between shots. but Y81 sometimes takes around 1 sec delay to take 2nd shot.

Just get the Redmi 6, same soc, cheaper too. Doesnt heat up, no lag issues so far. I am so loving it.

I have tried to compare the sound non-professional by hearing with my ears.
By playing the same ringtone sound effect, I found that Y81 is slightly louder than J6
