J6 vs Y81 - USB Hotspot Tethering comparison
Y81, somehow not working, it finds a hard to establish the connection between the phone and the computer.
J6 works very good. The connection setup very easy and runs smoothly. I even found that other Samsung phones are good in USB Hotspot Tethering. If you use USB Hotspot Tethering quite frequently, J6 should be a better option.

Front camera is very poor and phone prize so high compair phone function.

Y81 vs J6 - Camera
J6 camera seems to be working better. almost zero delay between shots. but Y81 sometimes takes around 1 sec delay to take 2nd shot.

i gifted to my frnd...... i feel shame to gifted this phone he is not getting calls.... and worest camera quality...

Just get the Redmi 6, same soc, cheaper too. Doesnt heat up, no lag issues so far. I am so loving it.

Y81 vs J6 - Speaker comparison
I have tried to compare the sound non-professional by hearing with my ears.
By playing the same ringtone sound effect, I found that Y81 is slightly louder than J6

J6 doesn't have light sensor, but Y81 has, which enables automatic brightness adjustment.
Both phones are using octa-core cpu. J6 maximum clock speed per core is 1.6GHz, Y81 is 2.0GHz, which means Y81 has faster data processing power. J6 will be more easily to generate heat than Y81 when handling high amount data computation.
3DMark GPU Gaming Benchmark running "Ice Storm" test, J6 scores 7896, Y81 scores 10692. Which means Y81 has better gaming experience than J6.
Y81 has larger screen size, lighter, thinner.
but J6 has smaller size, thicker, and heavier.
J6 installed with lots of bloatware (Samsung's apps, Samsung Experience, Samsung Member, Samsung themes, Samsung Account, Samsung this... Samsung that....) that run a lots of background sync services and other services which consume lots of battery. I have to uninstall or disable most of them to keep the battery last longer. J6's launcher has Bixby - Virtual Assistant created by Samsung installed by default, I find this kinda redundant since Google Assistant works way better than Bixby.
J6 battery capacity: 3000 mAh
Y81 battery capacity: 3900 mAh
Y81 last long in normal condition.
J6 last long... with most default apps disable / uninstalled
Y81 has build-in lock-screen wallpaper changer
J6 build-in lock-screen wallpaper is static
J6 has SOS mode build-in, press power key 3 times quickly will send SOS
Y81 doesn't has this feature
but Y81 has smartclick, when screen is off, hold volume down to launch function quickly >> flash light / record audio / camera / facebook / or other app
J6 doesn't has this feature
Y81, double tap on black lock off screen will unlock the phone. It can unlock with power key too.
J6 doesn't has this feature. Press power key to unlock.
Y81 runs Android 8.1 (upgraded version)
J6 runs Android 8.0
Strongly prefer Y81, my impression is, Y81 is lightweight in both software and physical material. battery last longer.
J6 is heavier in both software and physical material. battery consumes faster.

I got this phone and from philippines, so far i got no complains bout this, it has a great quality and durability , the music is one of the best, cameras too, no problem even when i play pubg it doesnt heat up much unlike other phones, and its battery efficient. lasts me 2 days just texting.
