Thanks VK.
Will need to think about it. Speaker phone is very useful for me who uses my phone for concall purchase when in office. Sometimes just need to share the conversation with another person in office to settle things. Just too bad. Maybe there is any hacks which can be utilize to use the speakers for conversation instead of only ringtones.

1. VK2020 does not support speaker phone.
2. Yes, user can use MP3 or MIdi files as ringtone
3. VK2020 USB cable is different to other brand and standard Mini USB.

Does anyone know if this phone have speakerphone capability ? i went to the shop yesterday to test it out and notice that the buttons are very very close together and i end up have to use my fingernails to press the keypads. Also can the MP3 be used as ringtones ? i did not test that portion out. It is very very slim and small and the packaging is super posh. Also i noticed that the USB cable is a bit different that than of a normal mini USB cable. Can i use the SAME usb cable for Motorola, O2 or Dopod with this phone? Can anyone verify that ?

I won't be able to answer the question about heating up during a long call, because none of my calls with this phone so far has exceeded two or three minutes. I have seen mentions of some serious heat issues with the VK2000 (close relative of the VK2020) even with five-minute calls. You can read them in the following forum thread:

Thanks for the response on indoor reception. Since I have Sony Ericsson T610 now, the comparison to it is good. I've another question. Does it heat up if you talk for 20-30min? I used to have Samsung phone, and it gets awfully hot.

Regarding the indoor reception question: My cubicle at the office is usually problematic in terms of cell phone reception. I had been using a Sony Ericsson T616 before the VK2020. Judging by what I know from the behavior of the T616 in my cubicle, the reception of the VK2020 is either precisely the same or may even be considered a little better than that. It's certainly not any worse. Considering the T616 is thought of as a phone with decent reception, I think it's safe to say that the reception of the VK2020 is not compromised despite its tiny size.

i saw on another forum that vk was contacted about the missing memory and the response was that it does indeed have 1Gb of memory. note the lower case b inticating bits not bytes. as it is 8 bits = 1 byte the "1000 gigibits" does translate into 125mb which it does have. kinda tricky and not so nice...

I just got my VK2020.
So far, I'm happy with the phone. I like the size of the phone and other function like bluetooth and Mp3 Player.
As some user asking for battery life, actually, you can purchase additional battery and battery charger for VK2020. And the price is not expensive. I just get one.
If you want to charging the phone while driving, you can purchase USB In-Car Charger.
All you need is to plug in the VK2020 with USB cable into the charger plug. N you can charge it while driving. Make sure you set the 'PC Connection' from USB Mass Storage to PC'Sync.
I have 2 different phone but using same in-car charger. Only thing i have to carry was the USB cable.

This Phone is sensation in South Korea. Because it is very cheap, tiny-designed
slim Phone.
It is enough for using Hand-held phone.
If you want digital camera or good quality MP3 function, I recommend buy Ipod or digital camera. It's good.

The lack of 1 GB of storage on the phone may simply be a last-minute change in the feature list of the phone, people.
Keep in mind that a lot of early previews and blog posts about this phone even mentioned a VGA camera (see ubergizmo.com and softpedia.com). A lot of such specs are probably announced early based on the initial design requirements of the manufacturer for the phone and things get squeezed out at the last minute as some of the procurement and production realities and deadlines start to set in.
Judging by the fact that the missing camera feature is mentioned by fewer sources, it must have been scratched by the manufacturer earlier on. If my guess is right, the fact that the 1 GB memory capacity is mentioned by so many sources simply means that the manufacturer was forced to drop that feature at a much later stage of development.
To put it another way, "that's life, get over it!"

Correction:
I meant to say "it got eight to nine hours of stand-by time PER DAY since Monday"...

Here's my best expression of battery life so far:
The last time I charged the phone was Monday morning. Right now it's Thursday morning, and the battery indicator is still at 2/3 charged. Keep in mind a few things, though:
1) I keep my cell phone turned off at home. So the phone only got about eight to nine hours of stand-by time since Monday, with Monday itself being a shorter than usual day for me, at about six hours. So, my cumulative stand-by time since last charge is currently only about 26 hours as I write this. This period also included five to six brief calls and several minutes of fiddling with menus. The phone's battery indicator went below 100% for the first time only this morning, after 24 hours of stand-by and the activity I just mentioned.
2) I don't expect the battery indicator to be very linear. In other words, I don't expect to get another 48 hours of similar use out of the phone, now that the indicator is at two thirds. I wouldn't be surprised if my battery ran out some time tomorrow.
3) Your mileage may vary. These things change based on how far you are from the nearest cell tower where you spend most of your time with your cell phone on stand-by. I spent almost all of this stand-by time in my office. My office may be closer to the nearest cell tower than your typical cell phone use location, or it may be farther. I'm not sure what the distance to the nearest cell tower is from my office. I do know that there are no cell towers in the directly visible vicinty of my office. So, at least I couldn't really be next door to one.
It's not easy to say this for certain before I complete a full battery charge cycle even with my typical (light) usage but, my impressions so far is that, if you are a heavy cell phone user, then it's probably safe to say you should be prepared to need daily recharging when you use the VK2020...

I think the 1Gb NAND flash is the most mis-understood. The only conclusion I can come up with is the it's 1Giga-bits... which means... divide it by 8 to get Gig-Bytes...
thus making it around 125MegaBytes... Rather deceving, NO ?
But I believe the WapZon site lists it as 1Gb=125MB or something...
I am really interested in this phone. But really need a good feel of the battery life. My Razar V3 Black only lasts 2-3days... But charging the VK2020 every day would be ok. I'm a heavy phone user who would like to use my BT headset.
Anybody who owns a VK2020 can advise ?

To clarify the charger issue: The phone (when purchased through Wapzon.com) came with a "travel charger" to be used with mains power only. It is a "100-240V" charger (50 and 60 Hz), which means it will not require a voltage transformer in the US, but just a plug adapter that will convert its round-pronged European style plug to a flat-pronged US style plug.
It did NOT come with a car charger.
